CHAPTER 5 Cheater

"N-Natasha!?" You yelled.

They stop kissing and look at you with their eyes widened.

"Y/n- I swear it's not what it looks like-!" Natasha yelled.

"Yes actually, it is" Bucky said.

Natasha turned to Bucky and kicked his feet off of the ground and ran to you. W
Once she got to you she hugged you and put one hand in your hair. You push her away and look at her with tears in your eyes.

"..." Tears start to spread down your face even more. "Why..?" You asked her.

"What do you mean..?" She said sounding as if she had lost her voice.

"Why be with me if you were just going to do this.." You say without looking at her.

"I- please just let me explain.." She said.

"Why? So I can here you say that he kissed you. Why should I trust you anyway. Huh?" You hissed at her.

Wanda walked into the room as her eyes widened and put her hand over her mouth. She ran to you and put her arms around you.

"How could you do this to her?" Wanda said to Natasha with disappointment in her voice

Wanda put one arm around you and walked you out of the room wiping the tears from your face. When you left you room you could hear Natasha fall to the ground and cry. Even after what just happened you couldn't help but feel bad. Although at the same time you just wanted to crawl into bed and never get up. Wanda brought you to her room and sat you on her bed.

"I'll be back in a bit" Wanda said slowly walking away.

"O-ok.." you mumbled.

You laid in her bed wrapping a throw blanket around you crying in a pillow. Your in pain, why did she kiss Bucky? You continued to cry into the pillow when you heard the door open. It was Wanda. She sat behind you and put her hand in your hair. She scooted closer to you and put you in the blankets so you wouldn't get cold.

"You need me to go talk to her?" She said jokingly.

You giggled, and sat up and turned to her. "Thanks, but I don't think that's a good idea"

She put her arms around you as you rested your head on her shoulder.

"Oh y/n... I'm so sorry." She said.

You hugged her tightly not wanting to let go. Suddenly the door opened. You looked over to see who it was. At the sight of them you hid back in Wandas shoulder.

"What do you want Natasha" Wanda growled.

"Let me talk to y/n." She said.

You held onto Wanda as firm as you could without hurting her.

"She doesn't want to speed with you at the moment." Wanda said putting her hand on the back of your head, tangling in your hair.

"Please.. Just a few minutes.." Natasha said.

Wanda looked at you then back at Nat. "Fine" she said as she left the room.

Natasha sat on the edge of the bed and looked at you with tears in her eyes.

"Y/n, none of that was meant to happen-"

"Then what was!?" You yelled. "What was meant to happen!?"

"Y/n just let me explain"

"Explain what. Explain why you went behind my back and kissed one of my best friends!? Or how I trusted you and you let me down!?" You screamed.

Tears begin to pour out if your eyes, you feel a gentle hand on your thigh.

"I'm sorry, I'll leave" Natasha said while walking out.

One Month Later

You woke up after a terrible sleep in your finished room. It's been a month but as much as you hated to admit it... You really missed Nat. A few minutes later you hear a knock on your door.

"Come in" You said

It was Steve.

"Hey y/n you going to the party tonight?" He asked

You shrugged "I don't know, probably not."

Steve looked at you concerned. "Y/n.. it's been a month, you have to move on."

The room was quiet for a moment until Steve spoke.

"I promise you won't have any contact with her at the party."

You brushed your hand threw your hair. "Fine" you said giggling as Steve walked out.

It's had been a while since you laughed, or felt joy. The last month was difficult considering your room was across from Natasha's, and at night you could hear her crying. You wanted to go and comfort her but you were in too much pain. You couldn't see her after everything that happened. Even though you new it would only be a matter of time before you two had a mission together. You wanted to convince yourself that you didn't want her back, you tried not to miss her. Her smile, her laugh, the way she would always comfort you. You started to cry as all the memories of her came flooding back. You missed her so much. All you wanted was to feel her arms around you again. You let out a loud scream as you laid back down. It didn't help when you looked over on your bed-side table to see a picture of you two together. You wrapped your arms around your pillow pretending it was her. Before you could wipe your tears away, Wanda walked in and held you close.

"I miss her.." you said to Wanda.

"I know.. I'm so sorry" she said to you.

You look over to see Natasha in the doorway. You could tell she hadn't been sleeping. You hid your face back in Wanda's shoulder to avoid the pain of seeing Nat look at you.

"Try to talk to her at the party tonight. Even if it's been a month you should still hear her out, give her a chance" Wanda said to you.

She looks at you with tears in her eyes, she can tell you haven't been sleeping either.

"Get some sleep before the party, it will help." She said before walking out.

For the past month she has been helping you threw the "breakup" and you really appreciated it. You really needed someone like her, and you were so lucky spot have her.

A Few Hours Later

You woke up from your nap, you felt a lot better. The party is in two hours so you started getting ready. You put on a tight black dress, nice black heels, and you straightened your hair. But you couldn't forget water proof mascara. You know, just in case.
