CHAPTER 12 The Proposal

Natasha's POV

It's now been just over a year since me and Y/n started dating. Tonight is when I'm going to propose. The whole team is in on it. Y/n always says that if she ever gets married, she wants to be proposed to in front of her friends so she can brag. So tonight the team is going to have a movie night. We will watch a horror and once the movie is done I'm going to pop the big question.

I really hope she says yes.

•1 hour later•

Steve, Bucky, Sam, Tony and I were all sitting in the living room talking about the proposal.

"Nervous?" Steve asked me.

"Incredibly, what if she says no!?" I started to worry.

The room filled with laughter from the guys before Sam spoke up.

"You seriously think she'll say no? She's been talking to all of us about wanting to get married for a long time." Sam stated, putting emphasis on the 'long'.

"She has..?" I asked.

The guys all nodded and smiled at me.

"Natasha, she loves you so much. There's no way she'll say no!" Tony yelled.

"Say no to what?" Y/n asked as she entered the room.

"Nothing!" We all yelled.

"Uh.. ok..." Y/n said before walking into the kitchen.

Y/n's POV

"So what movie are we watching tonight?" I asked.

"We're watching a horror." Bucky smirked.

"What! Why!?" I groaned.

"Because you hate them." Thor chuckled.

The group agreed as I rolled my eyes.

"Well I'm gonna go talk to Wanda." I said before walking to Wanda's room.

Me and Wanda talked and came to the conclusion that we would stay as friends and still hang out. I'm happy about that, I really care about her.

I got to Wanda's room and knocked on the door.

"Wanda it's me, can I come in?" I asked.

The door swung open and she wrapped her arms around me.

"Someone's happy to see me." I giggled.

•a few hours later•

"I think Natasha is gonna propose soon." I blurted out.

Wanda's sweet smiled lowered a small bit, I noticed and I felt some sort of guilt.

"What makes you think that?" The witch asked.

"She's been hinting at it for a while now, and I heard Clint talking about how to propose to Natasha." I smiled.

She smiled and put her hand on my thigh.

"That's amazing Y/n, I'm so happy for you." She smiled sweetly.

"Well I still don't know if she actually is or not yet, so I probably shouldn't get my hopes up." I frowned.

Wanda pulled me in for a hug and lightly kissed the top of my head.

"Y/n you know I don't like her, but she makes you happy and she loves you. She's gonna end up proposing one way or another." Wanda cooed.

I smiled and hid my head in her neck.

"Y/n.." she softly spoke.

"Yeah?" I said looking into her eyes.

"I have something to confess, but please don't be mad.." she almost mumbled.

"Wanda you know you can tell me anything." I smiled.

"Okay well at the party the first time you got here, I'm the one who put the roofies in yours drink. I also asked Bucky to kiss Natasha to make you think she was cheating. I also kidnapped her that day you two went on a date at the sushi place. And I tried to brake you two up, several times. I just want to say I'm over all of that, and I'm so, so, sorry." She explained bursting into tears.

I pulled her in for another hug.

"Wanda I'm not gonna lie, that really pisses me off. But that's in the past, right?" I cooed in her ear.

She sniffled and returned the hug.

"Thank you." She mumbled.

"Of corse, Wands. I love you." I smiled.

•Movie time•

Wanda and I walked into the living room to see very one sitting on the couches. Steve and Bucky cuddling, Thor and Loki, Tony and Peter. They all looked so cute together. Clint, Bruce, Natasha, Vision, and Carol were all sitting alone. I tile Wanda she should shoot her shot with Vision since I knew he liked her, so Wanda cuddled with him.

I, of corse, cuddled with Natasha.

The movie started and we all started watching.

•End of movie•

The movie ended and Natasha stood up off of the couch and looked into my eyes. Everyone started smiling and as soon as Natasha pulled a box out of her pocket I knew what this was.

Natasha bent down on one knee and opened the box revealing a diamond ring.

"Y/n, you know I'm terrible at the whole love talk so I'm just gonna say it. Will you marry me?" She softly said.

I felt my eyes begin to flood with tears as I quickly nodded my head.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I yelled.

Natasha stood up and gave me a kiss.

"I love you, Y/n Fury." She said to me.

"I love you to Natasha."
