hey guys so I hope you liked the other two chapters hopefully the third chapter will be uploaded soon :3

When I walked out of class for lunch, I noticed that most of the students were gaping at me. Wondering if I had a ‘hit me’ or ‘kick me’ sign behind my back this time, I quickly started to slip into the nearest bathroom when I heard someone clearing their throat and sighed. Oh no, this couldn’t be good. Turning around, I wasn’t surprised to see that it was Ash who was standing right in front of me, his adorable brown hair falling into his eyes. If it wasn’t for all the rumours, which I rarely heard and mostly didn’t believe, it wouldn’t been hard for me to believe that this guy was a ‘bad boy’ because he certainly didn’t meet all the regular standards.

Alright, good looks was something that he had and he had the kind of personality that would make a girl melt on the spot, but his eyes told me a different story. They looked at me like they genuinely cared about me and I felt something stirring within me. No! Quickly turning away, I tried to speed away as fast as I could before he grabbed my hand and turned me around to face him.

“Hey! What are you doing?” I didn’t try to struggle, choosing to stare him down instead.

“You don’t have to be such a bitch, you know. I just wanted to say sorry,” Ash’s looked at me angrily, probably not used to having gotten such a response from any girl ever.

I resisted the urge to laugh, “If not falling at your feet and apologising for bumping into you makes me a bitch then fine. But I’d rather be that than get involved with you Ash.” I tried to hide my smile when I saw his jaw almost drop in shock and shook my head when I saw him eyeing another girl. I had done the right thing, I decided, getting involved with Ash wasn’t worth the trouble.

“You know-,” Ash started to say.

But I silenced him with a, “Save it for someone who actually cares, Brown.” I swear that when I said it, I saw a flash of pain in his eyes. It was gone though, before I even realised it was there and he started to turn around, but this time I grabbed his arm to stop him.

“What?” He almost growled at me but I didn’t let his attitude stop me. I knew that he was upset because of me.

“I’m sorry,” I told him, “I had no right to say what I did and I’m sorry for being such a bitch, but I really don’t see me changing much in the future.”

I saw a light smile on Ash’s face, one where he flashed his dimples and before I could stop myself, I was swooning over it. Quickly brushing that thought aside I said, “I have to go have lunch. See you later.”

Sighing with relief, I quickly waved at him and turned around with a smile on my own face. It quickly disappeared with a realisation however. What was I doing talking to Ash? I wasn’t even supposed to be looking at him let alone talking to him. I knew better than this, but as I caught myself thinking about him I also caught myself wondering about if I actually did know any better.

Entering the cafeteria I searched for my friends but I couldn't see them, they must be in the courtyard. Walking back out of the cafeteria to go and find my friends, I thought to myself why does Ash have a sudden interest in me? It kinda had me confused but to be honest why should I care all he would do is play me. I was pulled out of my thoughts by someone shouting,

"Summer," I looked at the source of the voice, It was my best friend Ellie.

"Hey!" I replied back whilst sitting under the massive oak tree.

“So, I saw Ash dorky Brown, following you in the corridors just now. What happened? Did he ask you to do his chemistry homework for him again?” Ellie grinned at that.

I rolled my eyes at her, “No. I just happened to bump into him on my way to class and he just wanted to apologise, so I let him.”

“That’s it?” Ellie sounded disappointed but also looked relieved when I nodded my head.

“Why? Are you feeling jealous that he didn’t bump into you instead?” I snorted, opening up my lunch box.

“Kind of,” El admitted, sitting next to me.

“You are unbelievable, Rows. You know that?” Shaking my head, I ate a forkful of the tasty mush that I liked to call my lunch.

“Oh yes I do, Davis,” El replied without even hesitating, “That’s why I’m your best friend.”

I smiled, looking down at my lunch and knowing that that wasn’t the real reason that she was my best friend.

Lunch break was over quickly and as Ellie and I stood up, wanting to make our way into the back into school, I saw a fight breaking out. Ellie quickly tugged at my arm at my arm, telling me that we should probably get into school, but I wasn’t listening to her. I was concentrating on the fight breaking out right in front of me because for once, the guy who had been attacked seemed to be fighting back. Who was this mysterious guy? I stepped forward to take a closer look at him because no one (and I mean no one) ever stood up to these snobbish bullies. They had never had enough guts to try and start bullying the girls yet, but I was surprised to see who they were bullying. Ash Brown.

Even more surprising was the fact that he seemed to easily take them down, as if they were nothing but little children. After he had tackled them all, leaving his audience in awe of his actions, he dusted the dirt off of his clothes and walked away like nothing had just happened. So just like that, I found myself falling ever so slightly for him.
