"Argh! 'Till what time?" You groan out of irritation while looking at your wristwatch.

It's already passed your work hour, you could've been resting and laying down on your bed at this moment. But no.

Your Boss decided to make your life difficult this time, you couldn't help not to curse at him for being too selfish.

Everyone has already left the building, except for you, your boss, and his date for tonight.

You're not going to lie, your boss is hot... and he can pull everyone he likes. But, Eren is just Eren. that normal kid you met back then with lots of anger issues and is very stubborn.

But all jokes aside, you and your boss already had a relationship back then, and to be honest until now. but he just changed a lot.

well to be clear, your parents.. and his parents were good business partners. until his dad decided to move out of the country, then come back not so long after.

you stared at the huge door that's keeping a distance between you and eren. he's inside his office room.. probably fucking someone. you sigh as you thought his mom will be so much disappointed. but for eren? He does this to disappoint his dad.

he still blames him for the loss of his mother.

"give this letter to him when he turns 23.. it is important so keep it.. and promise me that eren will not marry anyone. except you okay?" carla whispered to you as he hands you a small piece of paper.

"b-but mrs jeager, i don't love him" you protested.

"you will, someday..."

that was her final words to you 9 years ago, now you are 20 years old and this year... you are finally giving eren the letter. You don't wanna keep it hidden from him anymore.

after some minutes of enduring those unholy noises that are coming from inside his office. it's annoying literally.

anyways, after a while. you finally stood up as a blonde woman existed his office door and gave you an intimidating look, but you just responded with a smile.

"your smile is always annoying as ever.." she rolled her eyes at you as she finally walked away while brushing her hair using her fingers.

"drive home safe, miss tera!" you waved at her.

she isn't new to you, and you are not new to her. she always comes by to get railed by eren... and she always gives you the same look and you always responded with a smile.

even if she irritates the shit out of you, you just keep it all together and not smack the fuck out of her.

You grip at the doorknob, knocking and waiting for an answer from your Boss to enter. You don't know why he always makes you wait for him, then after that, he will just make you drive him home. When he can literally do that by himself.

you find his driver useless at all times..

"Come in" you heard him speak, and so you twisted the doorknob opening it.

Only revealing him fixing his necktie, he also has his hair in a mess since it was long and he just keeps it in a ponytail or sometimes in a bun.

"Well that was a little faster than usual," you said as you enter the darkroom, opening the lights on.

"since when did i ever give you permission to meddle with my stuff?" he raised eyebrows at you.

you took a deep breath, before speaking "you never gave me permission.." you smiled.

"great now, shut up!"

you smiled again and wait for him to finish, you hate him. a lot, if his mom didn't ask your parents to be with eren. you will never be here in the first place.

eren does nothing but try his best to disappoint his father but still keeps the company at the top to compete with his dad's company.

"so what's my schedule tomorrow?" he asked.

you immediately open your notebook to give him the information he needed. "a meeting with mr. smith, and lunchtime with armin, and dinner a with your... d-dad.."

it was a bit tough for you to say the last part since you know how much he hates his dad.. but you cannot do anything about it, his dad approaches you to have a schedule with him.

"cancel the last one.."

"but eren-"

"i am your boss, y/n... and we are doing our job here so don't ever put him on my schedule" he stated looking directly at your eyes.

"but eren, he's your dad and he wants to spend some time with you... plus, he said he's willing to-"

"Enough! let's just go home.. i'm tired" after that, he irritatedly walked out of his office leaving you.

Of course you're tired, dumbass. You thought to yourself.

you sigh, cause you feel bad for his dad.. he seems to want to have a good relationship with eren, but eren was the one who doesn't wanna talk to him.

You walked to his desk taking his briefcase, then you go followed him existing his office. And of course as a responsible secretary. You pulled the door locking it while he continues walking not even waiting for you.

He has his hands resting inside his pocket while he walks on the dark hallway, entering the elevator. you saw how he holds the door so it won't close until you finally got in.

you bite your lips as you stood there next to him awkwardly. your argument with him regarding his dad is not new, you want him to have a good relationship with his dad... but it always end up in a bad argument.

he cleared his throat. "i-i'm sorry for being rude to you.. just don't ever talk about him again, you know how much i hate him.."

"i know that, but don't you think he needs a second chance?" you asked.

"y/n, we've been friends since you were 9... you know everything about me.."

"still not giving him a second chance??" you asked smiling at him as you tried to convince him.

"i hate your smile, fine! don't cancel our dinner in one condition"

"what is it?"

"you also have to be there.."
