Chapter 26 - Frame Of Mind

     Shawn appeared in a white realm that fades away and revealed a white castle that seems familiar to Shawn. Shawn observed his surroundings.

     "Hello, Shawn." Said Aria in an evil tone.

     "Aria! Is that you?!" Said Shawn, happy to see his best friend.

     "Of course, it's me, your favourite." Said Aria in an evil tone.

     "Wh-where are we?" Asked Shawn trying to remember the castle.

      "You don't remember this place? This is my home." Said Aria in an evil tone.

     "At least you're-... wait a minute... You're not Aria." Said Shawn as he realised the evil tone of her voice.

     "What do you mean? We've been together for so long! How could you not know me?" Asked Aria innocently trying to hide the evil tone.

     Shawn pulled out the 'Heart of Harmony' and the sword the Guardian gave him.

     "Oh, I see you have the 'Heart of Harmony'." Said Aria in an evil tone.

      "Exactly... How would you know what this is?" Asked Shawn suspiciously.

      "Hahahaha! Maybe you're right. I may not really be who I am." Said Aria in an evil tone."

      Shawn inserted the 'Heart of Harmony' into the slot in the sword and activated it.

     "Let's hope this works." Said Shawn.

      "If you're going to hurt me. I'll just have to fight back." Said Aria in an evil tone.

      Shawn and Aria dashed towards each other. Aria dodged Shawn's attack by flipping forwards and kicked Shawn at the back of his head. Aria then kicked Shawn. Shawn, fear to hurt Aria's body attacked Aria with mercy. Aria, showing no mercy, attacked Shawn by summoning a stone pillar from underneath him, which throws him into the sky. Aria then pulled Shawn towards her using a laser beam and released an energy field around them. Aria attacked Shawn mercilessly and used the 'Staff of Corruption'. Shawn blocked Aria's attack with his sword, Shawn gained courage and fought Aria with the same energy. Aria flew backwards and landed on her knees. Aria glitched into Dark Control in a blink of an eye. Shawn then attacked Aria while she was on her knees.

     Their surroundings turned bright. Aria was no longer there, instead, Blaze took her place. The castle was gone. They were in the Underworld Realm.

     "Wh-what?" Said Shawn, surprised.

     "Oh, hello Shawn. Clearly, you know me." Said Blaze in an evil tone.

     "I'm not falling for your deceptions, Kyllian!" Said Shawn angrily.

     "Lies? Would I lie to you?" Asked Blaze innocently in an evil tone.

      "Give me back Blaze and the rest of my friends!" Shouted Shawn.

      Blaze lets out an evil laugh.

      "Shawn Nyston, I'm sorry to say. But your friend Blaze is no longer here." Said Blaze in an evil tone.

     "Wh-what are you saying?! Where is he?! What did you do to him?!" Asked Shawn in fear.

     "Sacrifices aren't always the best things. I killed him." Said Blaze in an evil tone.

      "No... NO! You maniac!" Shouted Shawn in anger.

      "Of course I am, now... GIVE ME THE HEART OF HARMONY BACK!" Shouted Blaze in an evil tone while running towards Shawn.

     Shawn dodged Blaze's attack and countered his attacks using his sword. Blaze turned into Exodus while their surroundings turned into Exodus' home castle. 

     "NO! You won't win this easily!" Said Exodus in an evil tone.

     Shawn regrips his sword and attacked Exodus. Exodus changed into Rosela and their surroundings turned into the Ender Realm where Damien found the Corrupted Element.

     "That sword is starting to annoy me as much as you are!" Said Rosela in an evil tone.

     Rosela summoned an energy orb and Shawn slowly loses his pace. Shawn was attacked by Rosela continuously. But in the end, Shawn managed to slash Rosela with his sword.

      Rosela turned into Damien. Their surroundings turned back to normal, with Aria, Razer, Exodus, Rosela, Dreadlord, everyone, looking at them. Damien on his knees, weak. Shawn looked at his sword and recalled the Guardian's words...

     "A sacrifice will be made..."

     Shawn looked towards Damien, holding his sword in front of him. The blade facing down, Shawn stabbed the ground and their surroundings turned bright. Shawn, alone with Damien. Shawn, with all his remaining strength. throws the sword towards Dark Control, closing his eyes. Dark Control disappeared and Shawn collapsed onto the ground.
