Chapter 28 - End

      "Hey, Nina... How are things going?" Asked Chronos.

      "I missed Blaze." Said Nina sadly.

      "I'm sure he was a great friend. He would be happy that we won this war for him." Said Chronos.

      "It was my fault that he got killed. I should've been there for him." Said Nina.

     "You were Nina, and he's proud of you. We all fought this together, and we won." Said Chronos.

     "Would you want to explain how you survived?" Asked Nina.

     "Sure. I knew it wasn't going to be the end. I managed to teleport away just in time before he completely toasted me." Said Chronos.

     "I thought I lost you too..." Said Nina.

     "You didn't have to worry about me, I just wanted to protect you." Said Chronos.

     Nina became speechless and was just able to smile.

     

     Exodus and Rosela sitting next to each other.

     "Is it finally over?" Asked Rosela, nearly whispering.

     "... It is..." Said Exodus, quietly.

     "Now what? Home?" Asked Rosela.

      "I can't believe we lost Shawn and Damien. Both the best of friends to us." Said Exodus.

     "I know you missed them, I do too. They were great friends to us." Said Rosela.

     "Shawn was really a hero. He sacrificed for us. I can't believe it." Said Exodus.

     "We were there for him, and I promise that he appreciates it." Said Rosela.

     "And not only that, I missed the good old times with Damien." Said Exodus.

     "Exodus. Don't worry. It'll be okay." Said Rosela.

     

     Nina and Razer stood in front of Aria while Hella stood not far from them.

     "So, I guess this is it. We've really made it this far. Nina and Razer, take care. I hope to see you again at some time." Said Aria.

     "Thank you for being the best friend I could ever have, I'm going to miss you, and everyone else." Said Nina before giving Aria a big hug.

     "Take care Aria, see you around." Said Razer.

      "Take care guys." Said Aria.

     Nina and Razer started to walk away. Aria turned around to see Hella who had been standing there silently.

     "Hella. I'm glad you joined us." Said Aria.

     "Thanks, I'm sorry about everything." Said Hella.

     "It's alright, I'm glad you made the right decision. Where are you off to?" Asked Aria.

      "I- I don't know." Said Hella.

     "Well, this is goodbye too, I guess..." Said Aria.

     "Yeah, I hope, you forgave me." Said Hella.

     "I have. Goodbye, 'Hello'." Said Aria as she waved goodbye.

     Hella giggled.

     "Goodbye, Aria." Said Hella as she turned around and walked away.

     

     There are legends in every story. There are legends in every world. As the once great heroes separate, they begin to return home to their families, explore more of the dangers that lie in this world, hide in the shadows where they once lived, restore themselves in their belonged places, and gaze upon the skies while anticipating their loved and lost ones. These legends were never alone, and always persisted in the face of evil. But nothing will ever end of them. The tales will spread into the unknown distances, because their legacy. Will never end. And our stories will never end.
