At the village, Steve looked around to find Rines, but failed. Suddenly a pebble hit him at the head, he looked up and saw Rines floating over a roof of a house. Rines showed a magical compass that was pointing towards the direction of Shawn. They both smiled and quickly followed the magical compass.
Day and night Shawn traveled around different parts of the realm, hunt down animals for food, took quick bath in rivers. He ended up getting lost at a desert.
He set up a campfire to cook the meat he collected. He suddenly remembered Aria. He missed her and was also worried about her. He quickly packed his stuff, and was going to continue to go south. Out of nowhere, a red orb went by inches from his face. Shawn falls backwards, quickly got up and saw Rines and Steve catching up to him.
Steve summoned a few red orbs and threw them at Shawn. Shawn dodged them one by one but the last orb hit Shawn at the chest. Shawn fell backwards. A necklace with a blue stone appeared around Shawn's neck. The blue stone glowed bright, a sword appeared in Shawn's hands.
Rines summoned lot of green orbs and purple orbs, and Steve summoned lots or orange and red orbs. The orbs were targeted towards Shawn. Shawn deflected all the orbs. Steve was furious. He confronted Shawn himself but was easily defeated. Rines threw his final orb and hit Shawn at his chest. Shawn fell backwards and his necklace got unhooked and fell to the ground.
Rines picked up the necklace. The stone didn't glow anymore. He attempted to wear it, but Steve threw a red orb that hit Rines's hand which was holding the necklace.
Rines and Steve fought for the necklace. In the end, no one won. While they were unconcious, Shawn took the necklace and ran far away.
