Chapter 3 Hogwarts Express

~Kacie's POV~

*At Platform 9 3/4*

"Come on Kace let's go find Diego and the others because I'm sure they would love to say goodbye to us before we leave" Five says leading me around the platform to find our siblings. Once we find our siblings we say our goodbyes and get on the train.

"Hey sis I'm going to sit with the twins. You can come sit with us if you want otherwise you can sit with Hermione and that" Five says walking along the train with me.

"Okay I'll sit with Hermione and the others with Skylar but if I need anything I'll be sure to come find you" I reply continuing to walk along the hall to find which compartment Hermione and the others are in. One I find Hermione and the others I say goodbye to Five than sit in the compartment with the others.

"Who do you think that is?" Ron asks pointing to the person asleep next to me.

"Professor R.J. Lupin" Hermione replies looking at Ron.

"Do you know everything? How is it she knows everything?" Ron asks looking around at all of us.

"It's on his suitcase, Ronald" Hermione replies pointing to his suitcase while I slightly smile at her response.

"Oh" Ron replies embarrassed and I slightly chuckle at his expression.

"Do you think he's really asleep?" Harry asks looking past me at the professor. I nod my head in response.

"Seems to be. Why?" Hermione ask lifting an eyebrow while looking at Harry.

"I gotta tell you something" Harry replies getting up and closing the compartment door after looking around. He explains to us what Ron's father told him at the Leaky Cauldron.

"Let me get this straight. Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban to come after you?" Ron asks confused. I just roll my eyes and turn to look out the window still listening to their conversation.

"Yeah" Harry replies to Ron while nodding.

"But they'll catch Black, won't they? I mean, everyone's looking for him" Hermione replies trying to reassure Harry.

"Sure. Except no one's ever broken out of Azkaban before... and he's a murderous, raving lunatic" Ron replies and I turn my head to glare at him for a bit before turning back to the window.

"Thanks, Ron"Harry replies sarcastically. The train stops and jolts a bit causing me to fall into Harry's shoulder.

"S...S...Sorry" I whisper trying to pull myself back up.

"It's fine no harm done. Are you okay?" Harry whispers back looking at me.

"Yea I'm fine thanks for asking though" I whisper trying to see what's going on out the window.

"Why are we stopping? We can't be there yet" Hermione asks concerned.

"What's going on?" Ron asks looking around.

"I don't know. Maybe we've broken down" Harry replies trying to calm every one down.

"You okay Kace?" Skylar asks looking at me than trying to look out the window to see what I'm looking at.

"I'm fine don't worry. I just thought I saw something outside" I reply trying to reassure my friend. The trains jolts forward and thanks stopping again.

"Ouch, Ron. That was my foot" Hermione scolds Ron.

"There's something moving out there. I think... someone's coming aboard." Ron says looking outside than looking back at us. The lights start to flicker for a bit than they go off and every starts to get cold.

"Bloody hell! What's happening?" Ron asks looking around. It starts to get colder and two black skeleton like figures come up to the compartment and start to open the door. The figures come up to Harry and I and start to suck out our souls. There was I flash of a bright blue light, I heard a women screaming and than everything goes black.

"Harry, Kace.....Harry, Kace are you alright?" Hermione asks looking at me and Harry as we start to open our eyes. We both open our eyes and look around the compartment until I notice Five and the twins standing at the door near Skyla.

"Here, eat this. It'll help. It's all right. It's chocolate." Professor Lupin says handing me and Harry both a piece of chocolate.

"Thank you" Me and Harry reply taking the chocolate from his hand and eating it.

"What was that thing that came?" Harry asks looking at the professor.

"It was a dementor. One of the guards of Azkaban. It's gone now. It was searching the train for Sirius Black. If you'll excuse me, I need to have a little word with the driver. Eat. You'll feel better." Lupin replies handing us another piece of chocolate before walking off.

" What happened to me?" Harry asks looking at Ron and Hermione.

"Well, you sort of went rigid. We thought maybe you were having a fit or something." Ron replies looking at Harry.

"And did either of you... you know... pass out?" Harry asks looking around. I just turn and look outside trying to avoid the question.

"Yea Kace did but no one else did. I felt weird, though. Like I'd never be cheerful again." Ron replies looking at me than back towards Harry.

"Oh...But someone was screaming. A woman." Harry replies causing me to shoot my head back around to look at him.

"Y.. Y...You heard it too?" I ask looking at him in disbelief. The others all look at me like I'm crazy whereas Harry just nods in response.

"No one was screaming Harry, Kace." Hermione says looking at us with concern. We all went to change into our robes before we arrive at the station. Once we got to the station Harry and the others lead us to Hagrid before going off to castle. Hargrid then lead us to the castle with the first years so we could be sorted into our houses.
