*Kacie's POV*
~After arriving at the Griffindor Common Room~
"What should we do until it's time for bed since we got out of classes thanks to Kacie" Skylar asks while trying to be serious and not laugh.
"I'm sorry I didn't realise you guys wanted to go to class but by all means feel free to go to class besides knowing my luck one of the teachers are bound to come here to talk to me later about what happened" I reply sarcastically while rolling my eyes.
"Kace you sure your okay? I mean your acting less like yourself. Did something happen before the incident with Draco?" Hermione asks just as I zone out thinking about what Draco said to me before he left.
'Was he right?'
'Are they pretending to care just because they feel sorry for me?'
*Flashback*
"Just so you know Kace their just pretending" Draco says leaning me against a tree and then crouching in front of me.
"W...what do you mean?....W...Who?" I asked crying from the pain I was in.
"Your friends and brother are just pretending Kace" He replies hiding a smirk while bringing a hand up to my cheek.
"W...W...what?" I reply with a tear stained face trying to hold back the on coming tears while shaking.
"Their pretending to care about you Kace because they felt sorry for you. If you were to hang around me and my friends you won't have to worry about people pretending to care because we would care for you and do anything to take care of you" Draco says softly before wiping away the stray tears from my face and standing up to get ready to go.
"O...O..okay I'll consider it" I reply trying to process what he just said.
"Okay see you around princess" Draco says waving his hand over his shoulder smiling as he walks off.
*End of Flashback*
"Kace....Hey Kace" Five says shaking me slightly to get my attention as he moved over to sit on the armrest of the chair I'm in.
"Huh...oh sorry... what were you guys saying?"I ask snapping out of my thoughts looking around at everyone.
"Are you okay? You don't seem with us Kace" Five looks at me with a look of concern.
"Yea I'm fine don't worry about it" I reply trying to brush it off.
'Draco is either lying to me or they are really good at pretending'
'ugh why'd I have to say not to worry about it now they know something is definitely wrong'
'ugh I'm so stupid'
"Kace I know your lying to me because I can hear your thoughts clear as day. Now tell me what did ferret boy say to you?" Five says now looking into my eyes with a serious look.
"He said that you guys were just pretending to care for me because you felt sorry for me. That's not the worse of it. The worse of it is that I...I...I actually b....b.... believed what h....h...he said to m.....me I'm so s.....s..... sorry guys. I....I'm sorry t.....t....that I b....b..... believed what he s...s...said" I reply crying while looking down at my feet feeling the guilt from believing Draco build up as I let my tears flow freely down my already tear stained cheeks not noticing someone wrap their arms around me.
*Five's POV*
Professor Lupin walks back into the common room with a wolf-like black dog as Kacie looks down at her feet crying while telling us what Draco said to her. The wolf-like black dog changes to look like the escaped prisoner Sirius Black from Azkaban he runs over to Kacie crouching down in front of her with professor Lupin following behind him.
