chapter 4 - Elijah!!!!!!!

Elijah called the others back. he pecked my nose and walked over to Elena. "we should be going". 

Elena looked over to rose pleadingly "please dont let him take me". Elijah looked at rose and Trevor analysing them causing them to cower under there gaze. "one last piece of business" he said in low threatening voice and stalked over to a terrified looking Trevor like a hunter would his prey.

"I have waited so long for this day Elijah" Trevor exclaims failing at his attempted to keep the fear from his voice. After a few moments of pleading Elijah basically bitch slapped Trevors face off.

I let out a whimper wondering if I wronged him in anyway if he would do that me. 

by the time I had looked back over to the situation Elijah was knelt down in front of me staring intently at me with a mixture of love, compassion and worry. "hey, hey I am not going to hurt you remember what I told earlier. huh?" 

I nodded shaking myself slightly before smiling up at him.

he bends down until he is at my level and whispers "wrap your arms and legs around me.

With that he stood up and I did as he said my legs and arms wrapping tightly round his torso and neck. he placed one hand under my but making me shudder in delight and his other hand reached towards Elena's upper arm. 

"I love the effect I have on you princess" I jumped a little as I was surprised by his sudden husky tone in my ear. he sharply grabbed hold of Elena's arm chuckling slightly at my actions.

I looked over to Elena slightly panicked as I did not know what was going to happen next. "Its okay just do as he asks for now". "there is no need to tell her how to act around me I am sure she will do whatever I ask of her isn't that right little mate?" just as she was about to question his choice of words he holds up a finger giving her a pointed glare to keep quite.

as silence falls upon us we hear people moving around the house. "what was that rose Marie, who else is here". "I dont know rose answered lijah. 

Elijah let out a puff of frustration and I buried my head into his neck in a attempt to calm him. he closes his eyes letting out a sigh of content before pulling back to place a quick kiss on my lips. "thank you my darling" he whispered softly in my ear.

Elijah walks into the entrance hall still dragging Elena along and rose following reluctantly behind us. Elijah pushes Elena to rose and sets me down. cupping my face with his rough hands. 

"stay where I put you until I say you can move okay little mate". I nod and Elijah moves me behind him.

there was some whooshing noises and then we heard a voice from upstairs yell up here from the top of the stairs. Elijah wizzed towards where the noice was coming from, I looked to my right and to me distress Elena and rose had disappeared from sight.

I felt arms wrap around my waist and mouths and I too was whisked away. I look up to find I am pinned against the wall by Damon.

"hey princess be quiet for me yes?". I nodded not wanting to make Damon mad.

"I could get used to be in this position though" Damon said the famous Damon Salvatore lopsided smirk. I gave him a small smile at this.

I then heard Elena's voice from the distance "please dont hurt my friends or Isabella I will come with you willingly". There was silence for a few moments before Elijah's deep angry voice rumbled throughout the house.

"tell me where my mate is now or you shall suffer the consequences." I heard something explode then Elijah gasp in pain.

my face started to hurt, it felt like it was on fire. my eyes started to water and I felt multiple sharp stabs on my body. just as I was becoming aware of my surroundings again I felt a stabbing pain where my heart was.

I let out a loud cry of pain because it hurt so god damn much.

I finally managed to put the pain to the back of my mind so I could find out what the heck is going on.when I opened my eyes Elena, Stefan and Damon where standing round mr with confused looks on there faces.

"why was he calling you mate?"

"why did you do as he said?"

"why were you being so gentle and kind towards you?"

"I-i- he said I was his soulmate and he mine. mate for short and that he would love and protect me forever and that I am going to live forever now" when I had finished they all looked at me with shock confusion and worry on there faces.

I walked round the corner and saw lijah with a coat rack through his heart lying on the floor looking grey and veiny. I ran towards his body and started crying.

"come on we have to go now issy" Elena said from behind me. "no I am not leaving him" I said my eyes never leaving Elijah's body. I heard some murmurs and whispers behind me but I was to consumed in misery, pain and grief to care.

Damon crouched down next to me wrapping an arm around my shoulder bending towards me to whisper in my ear. "well we need to get Elena home so I will come get you once she is safe because clearly you are not going anywhere okay???".

I merely nodded my chest and head still hurt so much. they left and I relived the truth Elijah is dead. my Elijah. I pulled the coat rack out of his body and went to sit on the coach.

I huddled up in a ball and began to cry again.

I jumped because a few moments later I heard someone say "hey princess".

"lijah?" I questioned. I looked up toes Elijah looking completely fine again which was weird but I decided not to dwell on it. Elijah smiled down at me the pulled me onto his lap.

we sat like this for awhile and eventually all the pain washed I way. I feel sleeping in Elijah's strong hold.
