I looked at Castor and he was looking at me so lovingly that I suddenly felt embarrassed. Because if he was Disney's Prince Charming at that moment, it only meant one thing – I was being a damsel-in-distress.

Fuck damsels-in-distress, I can't even stand fairytales.

I cleared my throat pushing him off me. "Sorry..." I mumbled.

"Sorry for what?" he sounded confused.

"I really can't stand sappy...so..." I awkwardly laughed.

"Ahh..." He moved away from me.

We both grew quiet.

"Are you okay—"

"We should go—"

"Okay, you first," he said.

"We should go. Saan ba tayo kakain? And to answer your question, yes, I'm okay."

"Saan mo ba gustong kumain?"

"Ikaw na ang bahala," I said averting my face.

I was uncomfortable. I felt self-conscious that we kissed and I liked it. Castor seemed like a likeable person but I didn't want to like him so much that I'd be a willing recipient of his kisses.

"Are you really okay?" Castor asked.

I nodded smiling. "I am...."

We drove off in silence.

"Ayn..." he said after a while.

"Yes?"

"I am not going to apologize for kissing you because I'm an adult who knows exactly what I want. I don't want to hear you apologize for kissing me back either because whatever you decide to do with me, you have my consent."

I wasn't sure why but I started laughing. "Whatever I decide to do with you?"

"Oo, bakit?"

"Wow naman, Castor, how generous you are with your body."

He chuckled. "My body is yours."

I laughed harder, the awkwardness I felt dissipating. "Ewan ko sa'yo. Saan na tayo pupunta?"

"Gutom ka na ba?"

"Actually, hindi pa."

"Okay."

"You like investing in real estate, ano?" I said trying to start a conversation. I didn't want to spend the next hour arguing with myself in my head because of the kiss we had shared. "Sabagay, sabi nga ni Dad, it's still the most lucrative investment of all dahil nag-a-appreciate taun-taon ang real estate at hindi apektado sa galaw ng stocks at trade."

"My family's really into real estate kaya bata pa lang kami, we already started investing. I bought my first property when I was eighteen. Actually, hindi ko 'yun binibilang sa investments ko kasi hindi ko naman talaga pera ang ipinambili d'un, regalo sa akin 'yun ng parents ko. It was a condo in Makati that they bought for 2.5 million. 'Yun ang pre-selling price n'ya. N'ung natapos na, the price actually jumped up to more than 4 million. I waited for two years before I sold it."

"Bakit mo ibinenta?"

"That's how you earn from properties. My other siblings rent their properties out but I don't have the patience for such an arrangement."

"So, how much did you earn?"

"Roughly 4.5 million. Ibinalik ko kina Daddy 'yung 2.5 million nila. I was able to sell the unit for more than 7 million. I hired an interior designer and voila, easy money."
