"Just Friends"

Chapter 9- sarah's pov

Mitch and I layed in his bed and talked for about 20 minutes then his mom called us down for dinner. She had made homemade Mac&Cheese. We were about half way through dinner when Mitch put his fork down and got up. He then did something I didn't expect. He got on top of the table and said,

"Sarah Elise, we you do the honor of being my girlfriend?"

I then got on top of the table also and said "Yes, I would love to." He kissed me right then and there. Standing on top of the table with his mom sitting there smiling the whole time. We got down from the table and continued eating. Once we had finished dinner, I told his mom thank you and we went upstairs to Skype some of the guys. We got ourselves into a call with Julio, Sean, Liam and Brayden.

I sat down on Mitch's lap again while we were waiting for all the guys to accept the request.

Once the call was underway Mitch decided it would be the right time to announce that we were a couple, but he wasn't just gonna come out and say it. He asked me to go downstairs and get a glass and a spoon. I did so. When I got back Mitch held the cup up to his microphone and and hit the spoon on the cup. It made that "clink clink" noise. Everyone went silent. Mitch them started.

"I would like to thank you all for joining me tonight in this very fricken hot July night," he cleared his throat, " I would like to announce that myself, Mitch, and Ms. Sarah over here are..." Mitch didn't get to finish his sentence because Julio interrupted and SCREAMED into his microphone,

"I KNEW IT, I FRICKEN KNEW IT!"

"Um Julio, could you let the poor guy finish what he was saying?" Sean asked.

"Oh! Sorry. I kinda got excited, continue Mitch."

"Thank you. As I was saying Ms. Sarah and I are now a couple!" Everyone started to cheer, but then Julio leaned into his mic and whispered,

"My ship has sailed..." them he rolled his chair away from his computer slowly until he was now out of his room and had rolled into the hall way. Everyone started cracking up.

"These guys are the best," I whispered to myself.

Once we had got off the call with the guys, it was around 11:30. Mitch's mom then brought me a pair of pajama shorts that were to small for her, but they fit me. I went into the bathroom to put them on. I undid the fishtail braid I had put my hair in before the call with the guys, and walked out. I went back to Mitch's room. He wasn't in there. I guess he went to change downstairs. I walked over to his bed and picked up his volleyball hoodie that was laying there and put it on. Right after I put his hoodie on a felt someone grab my waist and pull onto the bed.

"Hey!" I yelled. Mitch pretended he had fallen asleep and wouldn't say anything. "Fine, I guess someone's not getting a good night kiss." I said as I turned away from him.

"I'm awake! I'm awake!"

I turned around once again and gave him a kiss. "Good night." I whispered.

"Good night."
