"Just Friends"

Chapter 10- sarah's pov

It was around 3:30 am when Brayden came bursting threw Mitch's bedroom door.

"Guys! Guys! Get up now we are to go!"

"Brayden! What the hell is going on! It's fricken 3 am!"

"It's Emily! She's in the hospital!"

"Wait what!" Emily. The girl who was my best friend less that 48 hours ago is in the hospital! "Mitch get up!" I screamed and punched him in the arm. He threw himself off the bed and grabbed a hoodie. All three of us ran down the stairs Mitch and I both slipped on flip-flops and ran out the door to Brayden's car.

"Brayden, what happened to her?"

"Well, after she left the other day I guess she ran out of the house and just kept running. She didn't go home. No one was home at her house. Anyway, I guess she ran until she ended up at the bridge. That all I know Sarah."

"Oh my god."

Brayden drove into the hospital parking lot and parked the car. As soon as the car was in the parking spot, I literally jumped out of the car and sprinted to the doors. Leaving the guys behind. I ran up to the front desk and requested to see Emily Anderson.

"Ma'am I'm sorry but Miss Anderson is in the ICU. Only family is allowed."

"Her family isn't here! They were never there for her! They always had better things to do than be with her! I'm the closest thing she has to family! I'm the one who had always been there for her! You have to let me in!" By then the guys had shown up and Mitch was pulling me away from the desk.

"Sarah, it's ok. Brayden's gonna talk to them. Yelling at that lady isn't gonna make anything better." He said while striking my hair.

"But Mitch, you don't understand. She's never had a true family. She's always hid it. Everyone thinks she has the perfect life, but she doesn't." I whispered.

"Sarah, everything is gonna be okay, I promise."
