District 4's market is always bustling, full of familiar faces making trades and selling products. It's a sort of community gathering, full of laughter and cheerful voices. Rissa and Finnick walk through, eager to get their to the dockyard, where the Capitol boat will be taking their weekly seafood supply.
You see, they had a plan.
Whilst Finnick was a rule follower, Nerissa tended to be a bit more of a free spirit. And with Nerissa's influence, Finnick became just as reckless.
At least fifty percent of their weekly catches had been taken for the Capitol and their already stuffed bellies. Whilst District 4 was a pretty well off district, the fact did not stop the two from trying to discreetly take back their share of fishing. In fact, it's something they've always done since being eleven year olds.
"Finnick, you need to walk a little quicker if we're actually going to make it there in time." Nerissa scolded him
"Well maybe if you stopped scolding me and hurried up we wouldn't be running so late this week."
"And you've been spending too much time with my mother, I didn't think it was possible, but you're beginning to sound a lot like her." Finnick added
Coral, Finnick's mother, was a beautiful woman in her mid-thirties. She resembled him much, with her long golden, but curly, hair and her golden complexion. Her eyes bore the blue, twinkly irises that Finnick adorned.
On some days, Rissa liked to spend her mornings helping Coral fish, she was also pregnant with Finnick's first sibling. His father had passed away when Finnick was a baby, of a disease that had spread through District 4, the only father Finnick had ever had was Delmar, his step-father. As well as Nerissa's father, Eric, who had a particular soft spot for Finnick Odair.
"Well, I don't suppose sounding like your mother is such a turn on. Well, unless you're into that kink, Fin?" She giggled.
"Oh, no. You know I'd much rather you sounded like Goldie." He says, a smirk on his pretty face.
Nerissa scoffs in reply. Goldie, the short, plump and blonde member of her prep team, took any opportunity she could to mentally undress Finnick. Whenever he was within her eyesight, she would size the chance and stare at him lustfully until he felt pressured to start a conversation with her.
Finnick laughs as he follows her further.

They arrive at the dockyard, the Capitol's colossal ship still by the bay. Three peacekeepers stand towards the front of the ship, clad in white uniform. However, they seem to be too engrossed in their conversation to notice the two victors sneak up the plank, which provides a walkway from the ship to the platform.
One plus about living in District Four is that everything is always so peaceful. The relationship between the district and the Capitol is stable, therefore meaning that none of the peacekeepers feel the need to be on guard.
On the deck of the ship sit five large crates, full to the brim with fish. One carrying Trout Fillets, one Mackerel Fillets, the other next to it full of Cod Roe, and the last crate Kipper Fillets.
