2. Opening Up Her Barriers

Daishini's POV

It has been months and Zeno left me with his brother and to obey his orders. Father I hate this. Stick with a male! The worst.

"Hey Daishini. Can you accompany me to a planet called Earth. I heard it has good foods there and fun games," Zeru said and I turned to him.

"As you wish," I said and he took my hand. I jerked it and made a portal.

"Oh yeah sorry. I thought you were going to do the teleporting thing," he said chuckling nervously. I ignored him and entered the portal and he followed behind me. Earth has weird architecture. Whis must enjoy it here.

"It's the same as the one I visited once," he said looking around. He took my hand and dragged me lightly to a what mortals call ice cream truck. There was a man with a smile.

"A love sundae for the two love birds?" he asked and the tip of my ears twitched.

"Sorry Mr but we are not lovers," I said and he gave a nervous smile.

"You two just look like you're together. And you have a beautiful voice young miss"

"Thank you"

"I would like to order a strawberry and raspberry flavoured ice cream. What about you Daishini?" Zeru asked turning to me with a smile.

"I don't know"

"Okay I'll order two strawberry and raspberry flavoured ice cream," he said and the man smiled.

"Coming up"

"Now for pay," he said and made money appear.

"Here you go young ones," he said and I took the ice creams. Zeru payed and we walked to a bench and sat down. I gave Zeru his and we started eating in silence. This ice-cream is so good.

"So what do you like to do in your free time?" Zeru asked breaking the silence.

"I like to read in the library and take care of Zeno and the guards. Dave and Kevin," I said and he was surprised.

"How do you take care of two grown-ups?"

"Oh they aren't grown-up. They are actually kids. The grown-ups you usually see is their other forms," I said with a smile.

"That is so weird. Zeno transforming to a kid and the real kids tranforming to adults," he said and I giggled.

Zeru's POV

"Weird is a small thing. Weirdest is better," she said playfully elbowing me. Yay! She's finally opening up to me!!

"You know I like your smile," I said and she frowned slightly and looked to the side. God! I upset her! Why did I say that!!

"I have heard that many times. And it was a lie," she said and I felt sad.

"Well it's true for me," I said and she turned to me.

"Really?"

"Yes," I said and booped her nose and she blushed slightly. I kissed her cheek and she was quick to push me away.
