8. Father

Zeru's POV

I was spending time with Daishini in the garden. Her hair was flowing beautifully with the breeze and her eyes sparkling with the light. Lovely as always.

I tucked her hair behind her ear using my thumb and I looked in her violet. She flushed to the gesture. I moved my face towards her and hers to mine. Both eyes closed until our lips brushed each other and connected to a loving kiss.

Her lips were sweet as always, soft and delicate. Needing care. I can't believe there were assholes to do such terrible things to a beauty like her. Most men in this era care about looks then what's inside the person they love. Daishini has a wonderful personality. She's my perfect Queen.

"I love you Daishini, I'll never do something terrible to you," I said as I pulled from the kiss. She smiled while flushing.

"I love you too," she hugged me having her head on my chest while relaxing. "And you'll have to meet my father"

My heart started pounding fast and my breath slowed. If she's this strong, imagine her father. I will prove myself to him I'm worthy of her. Cause most dads would want their baby girls with boys. "Y-yeah ill be in my best impression".

"Don't be scared, my father is sweet and funny. Just be yourself"

Time Skip

There he is. Daishini's father. In the name of Devines I'm being tortured. Daishini never told me he's the king of Surrea, my father was scared of his power like in a lot, but they were good friends. Dammit I'm toast! Someone please help me.

"I almost forgot that in some time lines you're female," he said with that intimidating voice. Okay I'm overreacting, his voice is joyful and full of amusement. But if he was angry, the pray to Lucifer and Hades to take care of me well, if I end up in Hell." And who's this?" he's eyes turned to me.

Oh God help me!!

"Father, meet Zeru Grand, brother of Zeno. Zeru meet my father, Daichi," I noted that Daishini didn't want to introduce me as a boyfriend just yet.

He looked at me with an uncertain look and I gulped, having a sweat drop.

"Nice to meet you sir," I gave a slight bow.

"The feeling is mutual. Say...you're Rena's and Torua's son?" he asked and I nodded.

"Yes sir"

"Hm you seem to be a good person. What brings you here?"

"Oh I just visited my brother. And I'm kinda staying here from now on"

"I see"

"Papa... Can we talk? Privately please," Daishini says in a low tone and I went back inside. I was curious to what she'll tell him but I'm not going to pry.

I saw a bit on the glass wall, words from Daishini until her dad hugged her. I saw a few tears. Maybe she told him what happened to her.

Daishini's POV

Zeru left and I was left with my father. I sighed as he looked at me curious. His face manly but still desplays that childish side of him.

"What did you want to talk about princess?"

"You see father. I'm not like most multiverse Angels, I am different. I need rest, and sometimes I just collapse..."

"Yes I understand that"

"I had....found love. But it wasn't what it seemed. He raped me and I ended up getting a child, Kusu. I tried again but the same thing happened, Whis came to be. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you before...." I sad before looking down in sadness.

He sighed and I felt his hands around me. A hug. I missed it, I missed him.

"I'm sorry Daishini. I wish I was here with you. Like how a father should be. You shouldn't have gone through that, I should have supervised you. I'm very sorry for not being her for you," he said and I felt my eyes fill with water before I cried on his chest. He kept holding me letting me stay in his arms. First male I ever felt safe with, Zeru is second.
