The first warm day. Yesterday, the sun shone gently all day long. Everything basked, appearances improved by its golden rays. There was a warmth. Not the false warmth of heating, where you occasionally feel cold tendrils uncomfortably whip your feet or the back of your neck, but the nostalgic, effervescent warmth of holidays abroad and long summer days.
