Scavengers

Caitlyn has been on the run for months, running away from everything that could possibly hurt her.

Life was hard she was lonely 'come on he wants her' she heard someone was and it wasn't a voice she was used to 'she slowly pulled out her throwing knife and crouched down 'come on this way' she heard and looked up 'found her' they said and she popped up throwing the knife at them.

She got her swords out and started the fight to win, it came to the last one though and she knocked him down standing on his throat with a sword to the head.

'Caitlyn this is not you' she heard and looked up to see Percy standing with her dad 'this is the new me' she said looking back down at the scavenger 'who wants me' she asked and he didn't say a thing 'I said who wants me' she shouted and at this point the man was scared.

'The dark lord dose, he has seen what you have become over the past few months, he wants you, Harry, Hermione and Ron' the scavenger spoke.

'Oliviate' Caitlyn said and wiped his memory of everything that has happened in his life, he stood up and walked off.

She cleaned her swords and picked up her throwing knives and put them everywhere they were supposed to go.

'How long have you been following me and how much do you know' she asked and the group looked at her weirdly.

'We followed you after you left, your hard to track Cait' Lupin said looking at her daughter 'he did this to me' she muttered and the group of men looked confused 'who did this to you' Bill questioned standing next to Fleur 'Oliver, he told me to leave, so I left my old self behind, she's long gone, I'm nothing' Caitlyn said and stood up again putting her jacket on.

'Don't say that your father has been worried about you' Fred said and Caitlyn faced the other way balling her fist 'I have survived this on my own, my life is a fucking war zone, yes you may be worried but look at me, I'm a mess, I have nothing' she said and the twins looked at each other than at Percy.

'What you doing' she asked them 'get her now' Fred said and stunned her to the floor 'if there was one thing I learned from you, is that you can open the good old memories of over people like this' Percy said and pointed his wand to her head, it opened up so many different cool memories, it made her realise there was more to life than dating and thinking of Oliver, she can finally do her dream job.

'That's enough Perce' George said taking him away, she remembered that her first kiss wasn't Oliver but it was a funny dare given to her by Hermione to kiss George, she remembered everything from the first thing they all said to her, it opened something new inside.

Lupin grabbed her by the arm and everyone else connected and they were back at the burrow, Caitlyn looked around then looked back at herself, she was covered in blood from her victims, she did many things and they were okay with it.

She walked in and Molly and Auther looked up to see her thereafter the rest walked in, Molly ran to her giving her a hug then looking at her clothes thinking what did she do 'let's get you washed and in some new clothes,' Molly said with a smile only happy she was back for good.

Lupin looked at Percy since he knew something was off 'what else did you do' Lupin questioned him and Percy looked at him 'doing that trick comes with a price, she said that herself, one bad memory must go, and that bad memory was Oliver, I didn't choose' Percy said straightening his tie after seeing the frustration in Lupins face.

'Someone mentioned my name' they all turned to face him 'you need to leave now Oliver before it's too late' Lupin said running to the boy and trying to push him out the house, they all heard footsteps come down the stairs 'dad why are you pushing someone out' he heard and looked around.

'He was just leaving' Lupin said and she stepped closer 'I'll be going' Oliver saw the look in Caitlyns eyes, he knew she couldn't remember him anymore but he held onto the ring she once wore hoping one day she will wear it again.
