An orange dress, fitting to my eyeliner lies on my bed as I exit the bathroom with my hair curled and make-up done. I pull up the thin silvery straps of the dress as I put it on, letting my fingers trace over my bare shoulders while looking into a mirror.
"I must admit, I did an awesome job. Merlins pants you look so pretty!", Chiara cheers after tidying up the bathroom. "Just look at you! Let's make Hunter regret it."
"Chiara, I don't really care about Hunter and what he thinks, I told you... But you're probably right, you did a great job. Thank you.", I whisper, embracing her into a tight hug.
After Chiara had put on an adorable black skirt and a flimsy but cute top we went downstairs, into the common room. The lights are going crazy. This party is definitely well planned — music booms loudly from the many speakers, mixed by some Slytherin boy I don't know. Only Slytherins stand around yet not really dancing but chatting and laughing. It's quite full, filled with warm air and Chiara and I approach the others. Green, blue and purple lights dazzles us.
