Engagement party(part 26)

After your first scan you decide to have your engagement party. You and Tom both invite people from your family's like your parents your aunties and uncles your cousins(only toms brothers will be going because your siblings live with your father and you don't speak to them)
Your grandparents, and some of your friends.

Once you decide who you want to come to your engagement party you go online to find a website to order the cards to send out.

After about 30 minutes of looking and 20 minutes of designing your invitations you finally decided on something that looks like this:

(Obviously it will say your name and Toms name and the date of the engagement part that will be November 24th 20201)

You get the invitations in the mail and then you send them out the day after they arrive.

Getting ready for the party

It's 12:30pm and you, your mam, toms mam, and y/f/n start to decorate the venue, you have chosen to go for a rose gold and white theme because that's the theme you in would like your wedding to be.

After about 2 hours in to decorating it's now 2:45pm and you are half way done, you and y/f/n go out to get some McDonald's while Niki and your mam continue to decorate.

When you come back you all eat for a bit. You are the first to finish your food so you start to decorate again.

You finally finished decorating and it's now 3:55pm.

You all end up going home to get ready(to your house) so you do everyone's hair, and y/f/n does everyone's makeup.

After you all get ready, you pick up Tom and his family.

You drop everyone off at party, you and Tom go in and then Tom says a little speech

"Hello everyone, thank you all for coming, I'm not going to make this a long speech but I just want to say that I can't wait for this next chapter in mine and y/n's life, anyway let's get on with the party!!!"

A few hours go by and everyone is a little bit drunk but apart from you because you are pregnant.

Since you only live a couple of minutes from the party you can walk home, so after the party ends you walk home, you and Tom put on a film when you get home but since tom is a little bit drunk and tired from the party you don't make it up to your bedroom so you both fall asleep on the sofa at around 1:30am (the party finished at 12:30am) so you didn't really watch much of the film.
