After Playleap woke up during moonhigh (he always does that), he decides to get up and catches two fish, one for the pile and one for himself. He notices his best friend Crownfeather walk across the field. He decided not to approach him. Because he didn't want to get into his life all that much.

It was hard for him to think it but, he thought that Crownfeather was the right cat for him. It was days after he and his mate, Blueheart (Noob) split up. He continued thinking how amazing Crownfeather was. He was strong, wise, and a great friend. But little did Playleap know that Crownfeather wasn't all amazing. Sooner or later he would realize that.

Playleap struggled to sleep that night. He knew he shouldn't get into Crownfeather's life but he was wondering why he was headed to ShadowClan territory. His mind cracked an idea. What if he went out with Crownfeather, to see what he was doing. As the curious tom's they both are, what if Playleap could do whatever Crownfeather is doing.

He swam across the river and made his way toward ShadowClan. The first cat he saw was Crownfeather. "Hey, Crownfeather." Playleap meowed. Crownfeather flinched and spun around qickly, "Oh, it's just you,"

"What are you doing?" Playleap asked. "Oh, nothing I'm just visiting one of my other friends from ShadowClan." Crowneather answered.

Playleap couldn't hold away the feeling of jealousness, what if Crownfeather liked this cat more than him. "Who is it?" Playleap meowed. He saw a glimmer of annoyance in Crownfeather's blue eyes. "It's a she-cat, her name is not very important right now," Crownfeather answered.

"Welp, see ya I have to go see her now, she can get impatient." Crownfeather mewed. "Okay." Playleap sighed. What if Crownfeather had a mate? Playleap silently thought. He watched as Crownfeather walked further into ShadowClan camp.

Playleap made the decision to follow. But he stalked in the bushes and hid by the trees. He watched as a very dark green tom with gray stripes walk out of the Warirors' den. It was Stoneclaw!
