Moments later, Stoneclaw locked eyes with Playleap. The red tom dashed away as fast as he could ever go. He got back to his den, panting.
That day Playleap realized he would never let his curiosity take him again.
The rest of the night, Playleap lay in his den. Waiting for the sunrise so he could talk to his clanmates. It's all he wanted to do besides meet with his best friend.
Hours pass, and Playleap still can't sleep. He saw the smallest ray of the sun but in that ray, was Stoneclaw.
Playleap growled, Stoneclaw was on his territory! He jumped out of his den and hissed. "What are you doing on RiverClan territory!"
Stoneclaw stalked closer and behind him was all of ShadowClan! Playleap gasped. He walked backward until he hit this thick-furred pure white tom. It was Captainheart. Along with all of WindClan.
Playleap gulped, why were two whole clans invading RiverClan territory? He notices cats awakening of the reeks of the other clans. Growls of all the clans grew as Playleap was worried sick. Was one clan supposed to fight two of the strongest clans?
Most of RiverClan was awake to see the threat. Captainheart spoke up. "I believe that RiverClan should be taught a lesson, right Stoneclaw." He growled. "Yes, RiverClan must be punished for what they have done!" Stoneclaw spat.
"Wait, what did Riverclan do to you?" One cat asked. "They took both of our prey!" Captainheart growled. "Windclan! Attack!" He said without hesitation. Followed by a "Shadowclan attack!"
Playleap knew that whatever these two clans were upset about, it was bad. Playleap saw Stoneclaw step out in the crowd. "Wait!" He snapped, "I have an offer for RiverClan, I will make sure ShadowClan and WindClan never attack or invade your territory again on one condition."
"And what's that?" Playleap asked, relieved. "You have to join us two clans and we shall become one, for a day. But ThunderClan needs to suffer more than you do." Stoneclaw answered.
"Whys that?" Blueheart meowed. "They attacked a patrol on both of our clans and killed the Shadowclan leader! That's why, fishface." Captainheart spat.
Now Playleap had a hard decision to make, would he join Shadowclan and Windclan or would he lose a battle.
