"Heyo," Dream smirked, holding his hand out to be shaken. Sure he was just talking into the air, while being judged by his roommates.

"That was, better, but watch me. I can show you some tips." One of the friends said.

"Fine, fine. I need all the help I can get honestly." Dream said, shaking his head.

"I know." The friend stood up and replaced his body where Dream's had just been, standing in front of the room. While Dream sat down with the two others.

"Show us whatcha' got!" Another friend yelled.

"Hi! I'm Skeppy, what's your name?" He said as he moved his dark brown hair out of his face.

"Ok, I have to admit, that was good. How about I watch the rest of you go, then I try again?" Dream stated, looking around for an agreement.

"Sounds good to me!" One of the other friends said. They got up, replacing where Skeppy was just standing. He sighed and started to speak,

"Hello, I'm Bad! You look lovely today." Bad said with a smile, confidence rushing through his face, he was almost glowing.

"Ok, lastly, Quackity it's your turn." He said as they traded spots almost running into each other.

"Hey girl, I'm Quackity, but you can call me 'yours'." He said without any hesitation.

Everyone giggled instantly, but Quackity was serious. He was always a pretty funny and outgoing guy, it kind of reminded Dream of how George acted once they got close. He had to quickly push those emotions to the back of his head to stay focused on his other friends.

"Well, at least your intro wasn't the WORST, Dream." Skeppy said, still laughing like a maniac.

Meanwhile Bad was laying on the ground holding his stomach still chuckling about what Quackity said. Although everyone was still laughing, after being reminded once more of George, Dream's smile faded rather swiftly. He had realized that he was having so much fun with his friends that he forgot about how George had been worried about not knowing anyone at his college.

He had been complaining to Dream all summer long about it. Dream wondered if he should check on him, see if he was okay, see if he arrived safely, see if he missed him. After pondering for a few seconds Dream decided that it wasn't his place anymore. He knew it would be harder for him and George both if he kept contact with him that fast. So, he refrained, plus little did he know, George wouldn't have seen it anyway.

George was sitting on the floor of his dorm room talking to Karl as he put up more decorations around the room. The more they talked the more they clicked. Since in the first 5 minutes of meeting, George had already spilled so much about himself the room was easily comfortable. They could be vulnerable with each other and not feel scared by it, truly a necessity for a friendship. Suddenly, a sound went off, *DING*.

Both Karl and George look in the direction of the noise. After realizing it was George's phone Karl went back to focusing on tapping a new poster to the wall. George sat up and walked over to his backpack to dig out his phone from the front pocket. He unzipped in and reached his hand in. His hand was met with the cold screen and plastic case of his phone. He pulled it out and turned it on. The text read, "Hey, just checking up on you. I know you said you were worried about making friends. How is it so far???"

George sighed, Karl took notice of it. Leaving him to question it.

"Who was it? Are you alright?" Karl asked in a semi serious tone, but his attention still wasn't fully on George.
