I heard distant screams and a brief feeling of someone carrying me but I wasn't sure whether it was my imagination.
Eventually I managed to open my eyes among a bright light, I had survived, but I wasn't so sure where I was when all of a sudden it was all solved by a voice.
"Are you okay? You've been out for days." Well it wasn't Loki, but it was his annoying brother Thor. I couldn't speak so I just nodded as a sign I could understand. Then Thor started asking me some yes/no questions.
"Are you from here?" I nodded to that as well. Then out of nowhere my neck felt good as new and i knew I could speak again, I was very shocked and Thor could see it. I got up and asked "Thor, take this thing off me would you?" I had to persuade him for over five minutes when he finally agreed. My neck wasn't bruised anymore. "Woah, how did that happen!?" Thor asked in amazement looking eye level at my neck.
A couple of days later.
Loki and I were sitting on the bed together after a comforting long conversation when he came out with "you know what? You weren't so bad the other day." It came into amazement that he had given me a compliment so I thanked him. Once again he spoke, "I have a question, if you wouldn't mind could you give me some training?" I didn't know if I wanted to at first but agreed anyway. He still hadn't realised how quick I recovered. "First of all" I began "I would like to know what the training room is so we can meet there tomorrow. Let's say, 9am?"
Loki had gotten up and turned around to face me "follow me, and please put some socks on first." I rolled my eyes and put some fluffy socks on as Loki stood there with his arms crossed and resumed to his numb personality "come on I haven't got all day." I just chuckled and mumbled under my breath "rude much" which Loki wasn't too happy about. I finally put my socks on and followed him down until we met this very small, single door in the middle of the main hallway. "So..What's this?" I questioned seeming quite curious as to why it wasn't made a bigger deal about you know considering the whole palace is filled with huge doors and pillars made of gold and all. But I didn't say what I thought. He lead me through the door and put us both in this tiny room. "So you're telling me, this is the training room?!" Loki laughed but quickly silenced it "no, just wa-" and just before he could finish the room started going down at a very high speed I yelled at him "so much for telling me this was an elevator!!!!" Loki just smiled until we came to a sudden stop that made me fall "jeez, for a palace made of gold, this could use an update." The door opened and I was lead into this time a silver room, but it wasn't so palace like. It was a modern silver room filled with mirrors. It wasn't huge like all the other rooms, just a normal sized room. "Wow, unexpected but..better I think." Loki just ignored what I said because he preferred the gold but just intercepted "so, 9am?" I looked at him with a side eye "you forgot already!?"
"No, just checking."
It got to night time and I said goodnight to Loki when he gave me a gift "listen, I know you find it hard to sleep so I think this might help." He had handed me this plant which smelt gorgeous to put by the side of my bed to help me sleep "thank you Loki, it means a lot." As he gave me a smile I turned back to my room and put the plant beside my bed "let's hope you give me good dreams instead of bad ones alrighty?" I turned the lights off except some fairy lights around a wall of my room. And soon enough drifted off to sleep.
