Ch.1 A Strange New World

As his eyes began to open he saw nothing but blue skies and trees "Ugh my head." he said while getting up off the ground while rubbing the back of his head "Where am I?" confused as he is he found himself in some sort of forest "Scanning." Luz's pupils begin to glow green, activating her scanner "Scanning complete location unknown, warning unknown energy signature detected, locating the source of the energy...everywhere?" This made him even more confused.

Before he starts wandering around this strange new world he trips on nothing and falls to the ground "What, what's wrong with my leg components?" he turns to checks and sees why his legs weren't moving "Scanning for constructional damages." his pupils begin to glow again but this time they were purple and he was stunned to what saw "Memory chip 10% damage, leg joints 10% damage, thrusters 75% damage, some of my weapon systems are damage as well but the joints in my legs can be fixed everything else is okay that's good but to the rest that I need to figure out." he grabs his right leg and detaches it and place it in front of him, he puts his hand over his now damage and detached leg the tip of his ring finger opened and pulled back a little revealing a pointy metal cone appendage "this might take a while.".

After a few hours of fixing himself, Luz started to know that some of his weapons were malfunctioning his shoulder rockets failed to open on each side, the lower half of his left arm turned into a Gatling gun but the gun barrel is jammed to rotate, his right wrist opened pulling out a plasma cutter but only sparks came out of it, he tried to shoot lasers from his eyes but nothing came out "Welp looks like I have a lot fixing up to do but my thrusters still work sorta." his thrusters were damaged but they still function only giving him a little dash "Well good thing everything else works but the question is how I did get here but where is here and why can't I remember, I remember where I can from which were humans but to this place and the weird energy source here I don't think there any humans here?" he groans in frustration but sighed "Huh it's dark already." Luz noticed just how by dark it is "Well there's no point of standing around gotta find a way out of here but first?" a female robotic voice came out saying *Night vision activated* Now he can see and started walking through the now lit forest.
"Good thing my night vision can turn night into day or else I would bump into things." each of his step made a "zip" and "bop" sound which was loud while going 4 mph then his scanner starts going off making a beeping sound "WARNING INCOMING ENEMY DETECTED LOCATED RIGHT SIDE RATE OF SPEED IS 40mph, COMBAT MODE ENGAGED." Luz turned to his right to face his attacker and then his low right arm turned into a big 6inch plasma cannon that was the same size as his head "I need to hide somewhere." before he try to find cover a huge creature appeared out of nowhere and lunged at Luz, luckly Luz dodge the creatures attack and his robotic eyes could believe what he's seeing a large lion with wing of a dragon and a scorpion tail "A Manticore b-but that impossible I thought they were a myth?!" before Luz had time to think the creature roared and lunged at him again but Luz luckly dodge the attack "Sorry furball but I have no time to play see ya." as fast as he ran Luz realize the Manticore was chasing right behind him "Ugh you just don't give up do ya?" Luz stopped to turn to face the manticore that was in the air beginning to dive down roaring only to get hit by a rock that Luz just threw at it causing the manticore to crash land.

 
Before the manticore got back up it saw that its prey has vanished "Man it's a good thing my cloak mode still works now need a place to hide." after hiding behind a large boulder uncloaked, Luz, realizes that the manticore is not giving up its search "Man what will it take to AAAGH!!" Luz felt a pain in his head causing his vision to glitch out suddenly the manticore was right behind Luz but before it tried to attack Luz it got blasted by a bright light launching it off of the boulder stumbling on the ground in pain, Luz who was now in front of the injured creature staring at it and the creature stared back at him but in fear seeing its prey head spazzing out while hearing a disturbing sound coming from Luz with white piercing pupils "You'RE FiNisH." as he raises his hand at the Manticostop Luz now covered in the creature's blood laughs while stumbling backward toward the boulder behind him now in a slouched position sitting Luz's eyes became normal and started to close "System...........Shut...Dooooownnn." as his eyes see a figure coming towards him before shutting down.
