Charlis pov
I woke up to 3 texts from chase:
Chase - "Hey Char, I got back from my meeting early want me to stop by?" 8:02
Chase - "Charli were are you??" 11:20
Chase - "I guess you're not talking to me, I didn't mean to blow up at you just plz come home" 11:45
I sighed, what was happening with us? We used to be close, we loved each other and now it seems like we don't. I looked at the time on my phone 7:00. I got up to get a drink of water and to see if Dixie and Noah were up.
I walked out to the kitchen and just saw Dixie staring into the fridge
Charli - "Your electric bill must be sky high" She shot her head to the left to look at me
Dixie - "Hey Char, I didn't know you were up" She said closing the fridge door and leaning against the island on the opposite side of me
Charli - "Yeah, I just got up. Where's Noah?" I said looking around, those two were inseparable and them not touching or not at least three feet apart was insane.
Dixie - "Had a meeting with sway" she said staring intently at me
Charli - "What?"
Dixie - "Nothing"
Charli - "Do you mind if i take a shower?"
Dixie - "Not at all, go ahead"
Charli - "Thanks"I was kinda weirded out, Dixie was staring at me like she was studying me.
Oh yeah, I told them me and Chase were having problems. That's why! I mentally kicked myself for being stupid and telling them that. Maybe he doesn't think were having problems.
After my shower i was doing skincare stuff when i got a call from chase:
(on FT with Chase)
Chase - "hey baby" He said in an apologetic tone
Charli - "Hey" I said not looking at him and continuing with my skincare stuff
Chase - "I woke up and you weren't here" I looked down, He looked sad. But i wanted him and me to have a break.
Charli - "yeah, i was at dixies" I said picking up where i left off and putting toner on
Chase - "Well i figured" He said with a sour tone of voice "when are you coming home?"
Charli - "I don't know"
Chase - "Why don't you know?"
Charli - "Cause i think we need a break" I looked down at my phone and made eye contact
Dixie's pov
Charli - "Cause i think we need a break" I was walking by the bathroom door when i heard charli get a call.
Was i being creepy and invasive? yes did i care no.
Chase - "Are you breaking up with me?"
Charli - "What are you Ross?" I giggled. uh oh that was loud. did she hear me.
The next thing i saw was an angry charli standing in the bathroom doorway
Dixie - "I think Noah's home" I said nodding my head and attempting to walk down the hallway. Key word attempting.
