From Nerd to Badass

Chap 22

As our meeting was over we all left in different directions with a 30 minute wait in between just to make sure we could not be tracked.  I dropped off Ethan at their house and went straight to mines. Ohh it was a long day. I flopped on my bed and sighed. To think that we moved all out hard work from Paris to here. It's honestly such hard work but we are managing. With that last thought I drifted off to sleep waiting for the next day.

Wednesday was quick to approach. I got up and got ready for school. I kissed my mom goodbye and left for the hellhole called school. The first thing I did when I got into my car was blast the song that's been in my head for the whole night, What the Fuck was in That Glass. I don't don't know why but I had a dream last night and this was playing in the background. It was creepy but the song is Hella good. Anyways I drove to school and met up with Jésus , he's always here early for some reason. Once I caught up to him he nodded he's head in recognition.

" So I got here early to set up the test for that girl Rachel that I wanted to recruit. It's kind of mean but we will see how she reacts. If she passes I'll make sure she doesn't go to jail." He says in his calming voice he uses always.

"Wait bitch what the fuck did do. Please tell me it's not life threatening like drugs. You know how James hates us dealing with them. We might be a gang but we stay clean." I say with a small panic in my eyes.

"Haha chill nothing like that. I mean I thought about it but no. I'm going to have a few of our members to kidnap her little brother and then jump her. I feel like even though we don't fight hand to hand that often she would still need to be able to fight. Plus I've seen her around the track and she's good. We just need to test her skills if she ever gets jumped by a rival gang." He says laughing at my stupidity.

" Ahh that sounds good will this happen while we are doing the gang war? If so make sure not to go near that area. I think they challenge us in airsofting( AN so basically it's like paintball except it's tiny plastic bullets. It hurts so much more and it's actually a real sport? Game?) so be careful." I say giving him a thumbs up.

"That's my plan" Jésus says while the rest of our gang pull up. The day in school was pretty normal. Harper trying to get in James pants, the twins goofing off, and the rest of us, the sane ones, were just chilling. Playing games. It was approaching the time to go get Sam, Rachel's little brother for the kidnapping. Jésus called up some of our members to give the Signal to pick him up at his school.

With a confirmation text saying that it was a success, Jèsus put the next step into works. I was tasked to deliver the note to Rachel about her brother. It mostly just said things like don't tell the police and all she has to do show up at a warehouse without being seen and her brother will be returned.

As school was let out we separated. Ethan, Scarlet, James and I all headed to the location that was decided on for our gang war, while Jésus headed towards the warehouse.

——-Rachel POV—————-

Omg I was so scared when one of the new kids that drives at our school about two weeks ago handed me a note. What was I going to do? They kidnapped my brother Sam. All the note said was to come to the dark warehouse behind school alone or else I would never see Sam again. It also said to not contact the police because they weren't going to do anything to Sam they just wanted to meet with me. It even mentioned that they would feed and play with Sam so not to worry.

Of course that just scared me more. Who kidnaps your brother just to feed and play with them. If they wanted to talk to me why didn't they, I don't know, talk to me?
Anyways I began to head towards the warehouse when I suddenly get surrounded by like 5 bulky guys.

I drop my bag trying to look for an escape rout so I could run but saw none. One guy steps up and aims a punch to my face. Now I may not look like it but I do practice kendo so I was prepared. I dodge the punch bringing my leg up to kink him in the balls. Instant ko.

2 more guys run up to trying to hold me down to punch me but I skillfully dodge them and retaliate when possible. The third guy joins the fight and now it's 3 to 1 . After 15 minutes of pure fighting I finally knock them out.

I stop to take a breath and look up at the last guy. He stands there silently then begins to clap.

" Well done. He was right. You would make a good asset to our gang. I'm glad." He says. " follow me. I'll take you to your brother now." He adds. With the mention on Sam I pick up my bag and follow.

" wait what about these guys?" I say only slightly concerned. He looks back and laughs then waves his hand in a don't worry about it manner. I shrug and continue to walk.

Soon we get to the warehouse and right there on the font is Sam sitting in a chair playing video games and eating pizza. Huh, I though to myself. They really did feed him and play with him.

"Sam are you ok?" I say as Sam runs into my arms once he spots me. He nods and begins to explain how these nice men came to his school to pick him up and spend the afternoon however he liked.

The guy says that Jèsus wants to talk to me about something and after that Sam and I are free to leave. I nod and follow this guy to an office.

"Welcome" Jèsus says.

First of all thank you for keeping with my story. I know I'm still at updating but I'm glad I still have viewers. Second, like always I'm shit at spelling and grammar and no matter how many times I read this to get some of that fixed I will miss many. Third I hope you like this book lol. Forth I have been playing a game where I try to change Jèsus ascent on the e up every time I write a chapter on him so don't be alarmed when it changes.
