From Nerd to Badass

chap 17

" What do you want Nathan. I am trying to go home and get some sleep." I say annoyed that he dare placed his hands on Ethan.

" I want Ethan. Let me win it from you." He says with confidence. At the corner of his eye you can see slight  doubt, which brings a small smirk on my lips.

" You think you can beat me in a racing competition? Have you ever raced before?" I say chuckling a little. " Ok the race tracks two days from today at 3. If you win i'll give you Ethan and if I win I want you to wear drag for a whole school day serving my every need. " I conclud after my laughing fit.

"Its a deal!" Nathan says. I start to drive off when he screams," But where are the racing tracks?" As I kept driving I shout, " You have to find that out yourself."

----------------TIME SKIP TO 2 DAYS LATER--------------

The gang and I have been waiting at the tracks when suddenly all you see is a red race car, that looks like it came fron the  show CARS, pull up with Nathan behind the wheel.

" Finally you decide to show up. I thought you gave up. " I say after rolling my eyes. Looking Nathan up and down, he looks like a wanna be street racer but he only accomplishes to look like a hoodlum.

" I was busy getting my car ready" he replies shruging his sholders. " Anyway lets get started I wanna take Ethan for a spin later. " he adds after looking at my Ethan.

Nathan and I pull up to the starting line waiting for Scarlet. Before she starts the countdown, I turn on Bad Boy, full blast,  for the mood. Scarlet throws down the flag and we are off. I take it slow enough that Nathan is in the lead by an inch. I stay like that jamming to my music until the last lap. I instantly sped up smoking Nathan by at least 20 yards. I pull up to the finish line.

"Monday I expect you to wear drag and wait my every need. If you try to refuse, I have your confessin right here." I say holding up my phone and playing back the recording.  Nathan looked pissed.

" How you were behind me the whole time. " he says bewild.

" Have you ever heard of crusing before bruising. I let you think you were winning before completely destroying your hope. " I say smirking. Nathan looked shocked. I guess that he really thought that he could beat me. "And make sure you look pretty tomorrow." I say walking away with the rest of my friends.

"Dang you were ruthless and a badass. " Ethan said. I looked at him with a sinister smirk. "Of course. I couldn't teach him a lesson if I just straight up beat him" I say.

We decied to stop at the diner thats close to the tracks. We all sat in a booth and started to talk about the next big race coming up. The entering fee was a hundred grand but if you won your race, you received six grand. In then end,  it was totally worth it if you played your cards right. As we ate our food, we decied to put each of us in a separate race to make sure we would get more money.

That day I went home full and sleepy waiting for Monday to come so I can see Nathan making a fool out of himself.
