Something was wrong.
Taehyung could tell that much just from his current state. It wasn't like waking up in random places with no memory of how he got there was anything new, but that didn't make it any less terrifying. Taehyung often found himself in situations that he had no control over. The difference was that before, he could rely on Jimin to keep him grounded. Right now, that wasn't possible because Jimin wasn't here. It took his foggy brain a moment to remember that. Taehyung glanced down at his shaking hands, dried blood still coated them in patches on the skin. The fingertips of his hands almost looked as if he'd played in it. Taehyung swallowed as he looked around the rundown building, he was currently in. He swallowed, the air was so thick with musk and other foul odors, he didn't even want to think about what had crawled in here and died over the years.
Why was he here? That was the worst part, not being able to remember the answer to such a question. Taehyung wiped at his nose with his sleeve and looked around the room, seeing all the trash and broken objects on the floor. The graffiti on the wall, along with urine and who only knew what the other stains were. Taehyung reached around in his pockets and was at least relieved to see he still had his phone. Pulling it out, he checked the time, it was almost two in the morning. He had been out that long? Taehyung sighed, his shaking thumb tapping the screen as he pulled up Jimin's number. Maybe by some miracle, if Jimin could get texts in Hell, he could get calls. Hitting the call button, Taehyung raised the phone to his ear as he listened to it ring and ring and ring before the voicemail picked up.
Fear and panic started to set into Taehyung. What was he going to do? Who had he hurt now? Taehyung began to dial Jimin's number again and again and again but Jimin wouldn't pick up. Taehyung's eyes started to grow warm and wet with oncoming tears. The last thing Taehyung ever wanted to do was hurt someone, but it had been like this for as long as he could remember. It was then that Taehyung heard footsteps. Panic started to set in even more, what if someone found him like this, covered in blood and asked questions he couldn't answer. Taehyung pressed himself back against the wall, hoping the shadows would hide him. He could faintly see the silhouette of someone or something in the darkness. The figure stopped; Taehyung stared forward with wide eyes.
Then it was almost like the shadows parted to reveal this person and Taehyung's breath caught in his lungs.
"J – Jungkook?!" Taehyung said. The tall, handsome male stood before him almost like some dark blessing in disguise Taehyung thought. Jungkook's gaze thinned as he slipped his hands into the pockets of his slacks.
"Well, well. Not the place I would expect an actor to occupy, but I have seen worse I suppose." Jungkook said. Taehyung swallowed as he scrambled to his feet, almost tripping on the mattress he'd been sitting on as he stepped towards the other.
"W – Why are you here?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook glanced around the room as he frowned before letting his gaze settle back on Taehyung.
"Because if you want something done right, clearly I have to do it myself." Jungkook said as Taehyung's brows knitted, his face filled with confusion.
"I – where is Jimin?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook's eyes narrowed on the other.
"He is safe." Jungkook said. Taehyung let out a sigh of relief. He wasn't sure if he would call Hell a safe place for the other.
"Then, are you here to kill me or something?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook stared at Taehyung for a moment before a slow smile crept on his lips.
"And if I was?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung's eyes widened as he glanced up at the other, taking a step back.
