"My Lord."
A familiar voice pulled Jungkook from his deep thoughts as he flicked his gaze upwards toward the source of it – Namjoon. As soon as Jungkook's gaze met Namjoon's, he knew something was wrong. It was very rare that his right hand looked so frazzled. Jungkook shifted, uncrossing his legs as he sat up straight and narrowed his eyes on the other.
"What is it?" Jungkook asked as Namjoon dropped down to one knee and bowed his upper body low.
"My Lord, I apologize, but I wasn't quick enough to act." Namjoon said.
Jungkook's brows furrowed, but then he glanced to the side as if he was searching for something and the realization hit him. Jimin. Jungkook shifted to stand as Namjoon glanced up at him.
"My Lord – "Namjoon started, but before he could finish, a powerful pulse shook the entire realm and Namjoon's eyes widened.
The dark crimson flames that started to gather around Jungkook caused the air to heat up, his eyes flashing crimson as he growled like a feral beast. Namjoon quickly moved to stand. Namjoon parted his lips to speak, but it was too late. In the blink of an eye, Jungkook was gone. Namjoon cursed as Yoongi stepped out of a portal from behind him and looked around in confusion as his ears twitched.
"What is going on?" Yoongi asked.
Namjoon closed his eyes, taking a moment to gather himself before he turned around and looked at Yoongi with a deep frown.
"Jimin was taken." Namjoon said.
Yoongi's eyes widened, immediately understanding the implications of those words. He quickly turned and disappeared back through another portal. Namjoon turned his gaze forward as he raised his hand to chin in thought. Could Cassiel really be so foolish? It was a huge risk to go after Jimin directly. Perhaps his plan was to rattle Jungkook and cause him to act without thinking? If so, it worked. Namjoon turned as his eyes flashed a dark blue and his steps left ice crystals behind, either way, he had to make up for his failure.
Jimin stirred slightly, feeling a harsh ache in his head as if he'd been struck by something. Slowly opening his eyes, his blurred vision took a moment to focus as he let out a gasp, which followed a few coughs. Shifting to sit up, Jimin placed a hand against his head and sighed a bit. What the hell happened? Jimin thought to himself as he looked around, the scenery was unfamiliar, but it didn't seem he was out of Hell. Jimin glanced down at his swollen belly and placed a hand there out of instinct to make sure the little one was okay. Jimin then slowly shifted to stand, looking around the barren wasteland as the harsh, dusty winds shifted his hair about his face.
"Hello!?" Jimin called out, but the response was silence.
Jimin frowned, grabbing at his sweater, he felt around in the pocket and pulled out his cellphone. No matter what he did, it wouldn't turn on. Jimin cursed under his breath as he slipped it back into his pocket as he wrapped his arms and the sweater around himself, mostly to shield his belly as he picked a direction and started to walk. His mind trying to piece together the last thing he could remember. It was then that he stopped in his tracks and his eyes widened. Taehyung. Jimin quickly looked around all over for any sign of his best friend. The sound of footsteps caught Jimin's attention and he spun around and was preparing himself to defend if necessary, but relaxed when he saw a confused looking Taehyung walking out of a dust cloud.
"Tae!?!" Jimin shouted, running towards the other.
Taehyung turned and saw Jimin and smiled in relief.
"Jimin!?" Taehyung said, meeting the other halfway as he quickly went to check the other for any injuries out of the instincts of what Jungkook instilled in him after his transformation.
