There was an unsettling calm after the battle with Cassiel.

Jimin couldn't explain the feeling, but he didn't like it. It was almost like a calm before the storm. A storm that would destroy everything in its path with no remorse. Jimin stood on the balcony to the room he shared with Jungkook, his gaze focused on the crimson sky overhead as the passing breeze shifted his hair about his face. His hands rested protectively on the swell of his belly as his lips pressed together, forming a frown. All that was left of this whole rivalry situation was the battle with Michael, but from what Jimin had gathered, this would be the most challenging one for Jungkook. Jimin's eyes widened slightly when he felt the soft thumps against his palms, and he looked down at his belly and offered a small smile. 'Are you anxious too little one?' Jimin asked, getting a few more thumps in response and letting out a soft sigh. Jimin looked back to the sky, his smile fading. Me too. Jimin thought. It wasn't that he didn't have confidence in Jungkook, especially with how easily he put down his other two brothers, but they all seemed to share this collective fear of Michael and for good reason. He was the first high archangel. The closest to this so-called Heaven's Will. Jimin swallowed, that was right. He held the power for this unworldly being inside of him, right? It was still a bit confusing but Jimin was starting to wonder what his true purpose was in all this. If by some chance, Jungkook lost, would Michael just take the power from him? Would he kill him? All of their friends? These questions left Jimin full of anxiety. So lost in his head, he didn't hear when Jungkook approached him from behind.

"Jimin." Jungkook's low, sultry voice scared the shit out of him as he physically jumped and turned around, losing his footing in the process.

"Wha - ?!" Jimin shouted out, feeling himself falling back, but a rush of the air around him and a pair of strong arms stopped it.

Jimin's eyes widened as he was pulled against Jungkook, his face now half buried in the devil's chest. Jungkook growled down at him lightly.

"Be careful." Jungkook scolded.

"S – Sorry! You just...startled me." Jimin said, pushing himself away from the other with a bit of effort since Jungkook's grip was still quite tight.

Lifting his head, their faces now close, Jimin's face instantly turned red as he found himself staring into those beautiful eyes, surrounded by pretty features. Jungkook frowned, leaning down closer and causing Jimin's heart to start pounding. Oh. Jungkook paused though and next thing Jimin knew, he felt a soft kiss placed against his forehead.

"What were you thinking about so deeply?" Jungkook asked after pulling his lips away and helping Jimin to stand properly.

Jimin was too busy malfunctioning to completely grasp the other's question at first, but once he had a bit of space, he snapped out of it. Jimin blinked before he quickly looked down, coughing to clear his throat so he could speak with his voice squeaking or cracking.

"N – Nothing really!" Jimin said.

"Nothing? It didn't seem like nothing; you had a serious look on your face." Jungkook said.

"And? You always have a serious look. I can't have one too?" Jimin said, pouting a little.

Jungkook stared down at him for a moment in silence before he sighed, closing his eyes as he shook his head and completely pulled away from Jimin. Which made Jimin kind of regret his sass, but he couldn't help it. He was pregnant and sensitive. Jimin watched as Jungkook walked past him and paused as he stared out at the vast landscape of his hellish kingdom.

"You are worried about my upcoming battle with Michael." Jungkook said.

Jimin's eyes widened before they lowered and he glanced down some, chewing on his bottom lip for a moment before he closed his eyes and turned to walk towards Jungkook. Stopping behind the other.
