Chapter 3: Reunited

Arizona's POV: 

I can't believe I'm in Seattle again, everything just feels unreal and strange. Nothing feels the same, nothing seem right.  As I look around the living room, I noticed a crib. That wasn't there before, I don't think.. could it be? Did Mer have another baby? There was only one answer to that question and the only person around to know that question was Linc. 

"Did Meredith have another baby and didn't tell me?"

He looked at me laughed like it was a joke then realized I didn't have a clue about anything. 

"Arizona, Amelia didn't tell you?" 

"...Tell me what?" 

"That's our baby, Amelia had a baby a month after you left." 

I am in shock,  that's Amelia's baby. I don't know how I missed her being pregnant if she had the baby a month after I left, how is this possible? 

"Oh, what's the uhm baby's name? Is it a boy or a girl?" 

"Scout Derek Shepherd Lincoln." 

I found it sweet how she named her baby after Derek, I really love Amelia. 

"That's a beautiful name, being named after a amazing man." 

"Yeah, it really is. Should I go get Amelia so you guys can spend some time together." 

"Please, Go get her." 

Linc went to upstairs to get her, I'm nervous. It's like I'm on a date, except I'm not. I can't fall in love with her, she has Linc and now she has a baby. 

Amelia comes downstairs

She looks so different, her hair is longer and she is so much prettier. 

"Hi!! I missed you!" 

Amelia gives me a hug after she says hi, I hugged her back. 

"I missed you so much Amelia, how are you?" 

She continues to hug me and then says

"I have a baby, Scout. I named him after Derek, I was going to tell you but I didn't know if we were still friends or not." 

Did I ghost her? I didn't mean to make her feel like we weren't friends anymore, wait what does ghosting even mean again? 

"No no no, it's ok! Linc told me when I walked in, Amelia we never stopped being friends. Did I ghost you? I didn't mean to gho-"
She cuts me off right before I finish my sentence, I liked whenever she cuts me off. 

"Arizona, you didn't ghost me. You moved, you have Sofia and Callie and We're both surgeons and moms.  We don't always have time to talk to each other." 

Once again, she stated the obvious. Except she doesn't know about Callie. 

"Actually, Callie cheated on me.. that's why I left New York." 

Amelia looked upset, not at me but at Callie. 

"Who did she cheat on you with?" 

This wasn't gonna turn out good, when I spit out the name Penny Blake she is gonna break. 

"Arizona? Who did she sleep with?" 

I didn't want to tell her but it was too late, I said to much. 

"Penny Blake." 

Amelia looked like she was about to cry, she walked away to the couch and sat down.
