Chapter 13. One last goodbye

A/n I'm tired as fuck and it's like 1 am. I have school tmrw and I have 3 things that are late. Fun life aye?

Y/N POV

I wander down the dark streets. Dried tears staining my cheeks. Red eyes glistening in moonlight. An occasional tear rolling down the side of my cheek.

I stare up into the sky. My lips slightly parted and cracked.

"Is this the life you chose for me mom, dad?" I bite down on my lip.

"I miss you..so much." I whisper out, before continuing down my solemn path.

TAEHYUNG POV

I dash out the doors, tears streaming down my face. I'm met with dark cloudy skies and busy streets, car lights blinding my sight.

I frantically rush down the side of the road,

Looking for her.

Her.

"Y/n! Y/n!"

Onlookers give me a weird stare, most scowling at my loud behavior.

"Please! Come back! Please.."

My voice drifting away in the distance. Like a void swallowing it's existence.

"Taehyung-ah!"

Namjoon's voice heard from not to far away echoes in my direction.

I turn my head slightly and see him, running my direction.

"Taehyung-ah. Stop please. She's gone already. She left 30 minutes ago. You won't be able to catch up to her.."

"She what?! Where'd she go?"

My heart racing at the thought of her being gone.

"Come on. Let's just go back. We can try to resolve this with bang PD and look for her as well."

As Namjoon tries to convince me to get back into the building, my eyes still wnader the streets looking for any sign of Y/n.

Namjoon pats my shoulder and starts making his way back to Bighit. I reluctantly and slowly follow him aswell. My heart beating profoundly.

A/N POV

Taehyung solemnly makes his way into the building, in the while, Y/n walks away from her true love.

Her soulmate.

Y/N POV

"Where have you been?!"

As I opened the door to my condo I'm met with my worried roomate, ryujin.

"Not now ryujin. I'm not in the mood."

She looks at me confused.

"What do you mean in the mood? I was sincerely worried for you!"

I give out a sigh. "I'm not in the mood for human interaction. Please. I've had a bad day today okay?"

I feel her gaze follow me as I make my way into the room.

"What was that all about..?" Ryujin quietly questions.

About 2 weeks have passed now and I haven't seen Taehyung at all.

The reason being for that,

Because I'm ignoring him.

Over the past couple of weeks he's been looking for me. Feverishly.

He's gone to my apartment several times to leave notes, flowers, and gifts.

I haven't read any of them.

I do admit though. I still love him. Maybe even more so now.

It's taking every ounce of me not to run into his arms and never leave again, but I have to remind myself that it's for the best.

I know that the second I'd come back he'd do anything to make me stay.

Even going as far to quit his love and dream. To quit being an idol.

I couldn't bare to do that to him. Seeing him so hurt and desperate enough to quit the one thing that's made him happy these past years.

Yes, namjoon told me what happened after I left. That Taehyung was willing to sign off the contract and be with me instead.

He'd not only hurt himself, but the fans and the band without him.

All in all, I plan to leave for America and start my life anew. It's for him. I still love him and I always will. He's my soulmate afterall.

He'll forget about me after a while right?

Maybe just...one last goodbye.
