When Hyungwon arrived back to the dorm after his lecture, Hoseok was already there, laying on the couch and watching some tv-series. He turned his head to look at Hyungwon. "Did you have fun with my notebook?" he asked, a mischievous smile on his face.

"Did you do that on purpose?" Hyungwon questioned since Hoseok's tone gave some hints that the mix-up had been intentional.

"No, I really needed my own notebook for my lecture but instead I had to look at your boring law texts," Hoseok grabbed a notebook from his side and threw it on the other side of the couch for Hyungwon to pick up.

"Yeah and I had an assignment for today but all I got was some math problems," Hyungwon took out Hoseok's notebook as well and threw it at the guy. "But I don't mind since it caused me to meet someone."

"Oh really?" Hoseok eyed at Hyungwon as he walked over to sit on the couch. "Who is this someone?"

"A guy from the second year. He even invited me to hang out," Hyungwon replied and Hoseok grabbed his shoulder to pull him to lay on his lap.

"Look at my little guy getting a friend," Hoseok spoke with a sweet but slightly teasing tone. Hyungwon closed his eyes and adjusted his head in a bit more comfortable position on top of Hoseok's thighs. "Now you don't have to hang out with us engineers anymore and get to have some elegant lawyer company instead," he continued, running his hand through Hyungwon's hair.

"One engineer at home is already too much for me," Hyungwon joked and opened his eyes to meet Hoseok's.

"Yeah don't bring those lawyers here, such company would bore me to death."

"You're one to talk, just one look at your notebook got me yawning already," Hyungwon joked and let his eyes close again as he just enjoyed the way Hoseok was brushing through his hair.

"At least I don't have to spend every night reading thousand-page-books," Hoseok snorted and Hyungwon let out a dry laugh.

"That reminds me, I should study."

"Go study then," Hoseok pulled his hands away to give Hyungwon room to get up.

"No, don't stop," Hyungwon tried to look for Hoseok's hand with his eyes closed to direct it back to his hair. "Just five more minutes, then I'll go."

Hoseok let Hyungwon continue resting on his lap, slowly caressing his hair without stopping and just concentrating on watching the show. After fifteen minutes Hyungwon finally decided it was time to go and got up, ruffling Hoseok's hair on the way as he walked past the couch to go to the kitchen. It was the only area in their small apartment that was separate and offered Hyungwon some peace to study. Hoseok turned the volume of the TV a bit lower and continued watching it for the next couple of hours that Hyungwon spent studying.

After those couple hours Hoseok got too bored and headed to the kitchen to get himself something to eat and maybe cling on Hyungwon a little on the way. He put his hands on Hyungwon's shoulders and lowered his head down right next to the other, taking a peek at what Hyungwon was reading. He spent a few seconds trying to decipher what the text was about before pulling away with a groan,

"Ugh, boring."

"It's not boring to me," Hyungwon rolled his head to relieve his neck that was starting to get stiff already. He leaned back on the chair and watched as Hoseok opened the door of the refrigerator and bent down to find himself something to snack on.

"Clearly it's not since you spend much more time with those books than with me," Hoseok said with a strained voice and Hyungwon scoffed at his ridiculous claim.

"Come on now, I spend plenty of time with you and if I were to spend any more, I would go insane."

"Thanks a lot, bro," Hoseok gave Hyungwon a fake smile as he turned back and closed the refrigerator door with his elbow. He now had a bucket of yoghurt on his arms and he grabbed a spoon from the counter before proudly exiting the kitchen again.

Hyungwon took this opportunity of Hoseok passing by to slap his ass.

Some time later their doorbell rang and Hoseok paused his series to go open the door, still holding the now half-empty bucket of ice cream in his hands. Hyungwon perked his ears to hear who was behind the door, assuming that Hoseok had ordered dinner for himself. Both of them were quite lazy when it came to cooking so he ordered delivery often but Hoseok especially was always thinking about food.

He was surprised when instead of the rumble of a paper bag he heard a familiar voice of their common friend, Minhyuk. He closed his book and walked out of the kitchen to see what was going on. Alongside Minhyuk, Kihyun and Hyunwoo were also standing inside their apartment now and in the midst of taking off their shoes. Hoseok walked back with two boxes of what seemed to be fried chicken in his hands, balancing them on top of the yoghurt bucket.

He gave Hyungwon a wide smile. "We got company," he announced happily, sitting down on the couch again while setting down the boxes.

"You three should really learn to send a message before just appearing here," Hyungwon said, sounding like he was not entirely pleased to have a bunch of people suddenly barging into his apartment.

"Oh come on, I told Kihyun earlier today that he should drop by later," Hoseok told him. "Get the coke from the fridge and some glasses," he then ordered and Hyungwon just silently obeyed. Half a minute later he walked back with five glasses and a bottle of Coca-Cola. He sat down on the floor since the whole couch was already taken by Hoseok, Minhyuk and Hyunwoo.

"He's always a bit moody when his studies get interrupted," Hoseok whispered to the others, pretending like it wasn't loud enough for Hyungwon to hear it as well.

"Hyunwoo was studying as well and I had to hide his books to be able to drag him outside," Minhyuk told and Hyunwoo just reached for the chickens without saying anything. "He is always studying, I don't understand."

"I feel you. I don't know how he never runs out of material to study after spending so many hours studying every day," Hoseok shook his head and took a glance at Hyungwon who, like Hyunwoo, acted like he was not even listening.

"Exactly my thoughts!" Minhyuk was glad to find someone to agree with.

"And I don't understand how you think you'll pass any courses without ever studying," Kihyun commented instead, taking the bottle of coke to pour some for himself.

"Actually my GPA is still almost three. I just do only the required amount of work, I have no need to spend free time worrying about school stuff," Hoseok said proudly.

"Can we not talk about studying," Minhyuk complained, being the only one who still hadn't studied anything after graduating high school. Hyunwoo always left him off so easily, promising to take care of him no matter what. Minhyuk was all ready to become a housewife.

"I met up with Jooheon the other day," Kihyun said to switch the topic. "We went to grab drinks together."

"Is he still talking to that one Tinder girl?" Minhyuk asked, his mouth full of chicken.

"No, thank god not. It seemed so toxic that she had asked him to put her name in his bio after two days of talking."

"I don't know if Jooheon just has a terrible taste or something since none of his flings never work out," Hyungwon said, taking out two drumsticks from the box and giving one of them to Hoseok even though the guy already had one in his hand.

"I don't know either, how does he never manage to find any good ones," Hyunwoo shook his head slowly. They ended up debating about Jooheon's dating life for a moment more before switching to talk about Changkyun who was always – according to his own words – too busy to date.
