"I haven't spoken to her after that night," Kihyun said to the guys on both sides of him as they moved slowly along the cafeteria, filling their trays with food.

"But you guys have almost all the same courses with her, how come you never manage to speak to her?" Hyungwon wondered, stopping in front of the cashier to pay for his meal.

"She is avoiding us. Just now we tried to go to her as the lecture ended but she was gone before we could move an inch. She doesn't want to talk to us," Hoseok explained as Kihyun moved to pay for his food.

"I tried sending her a message to ask how she is doing but it seems like I have been blocked," Kihyun sighed and picked up his tray to clear the counter for Hoseok.

"She is making this way too big of a deal. Kihyun would have never realized something was going on if she didn't block – thank you – him too," Hoseok was done paying for his food so he followed the three others as they tried to find a free table. "She should just act like nothing happened. She is just doing things harder for herself this way."

It had been four days since the small incident with Sun and Hoseok was starting to feel more and more terrible about it as time went on and the girl still showed no signs of forgiving them.

"Hyungwon, come eat with us," a voice suddenly called from the table they were passing by. Hyungwon stopped on his tracks to see Seokwoo and his friends sitting on that table. He gave Hoseok a quick look before heading over to the people calling for him without saying anything.

Hoseok looked at the group, quickly figuring out which of them was Seokwoo. The guy didn't pay any attention to the Hoseok or Kihyun and instead, his eyes were glued on Hyungwon. A small wave of jealousy passed Hoseok but then he just continued walking with Kihyun as they found themselves a table on the other side of the cafeteria.

"I didn't know Hyungwon had law student friends," Kihyun said, glancing over to the direction they had separated with Hyungwon

"He has now," Hoseok sounded indifferent.

"Why does it sound like you don't like it?"

"No, I'm happy he got some friends from his own department. But that Seokwoo guy, now that I have seen his face, he worries me," Hoseok resisted the urge to glance over his shoulder to the table Hyungwon was sitting at. Previously he had joked about that guy having a crush on Seokwoo but now that he had witnessed it with his own eyes, he was not happy.

"Oh I think I know which one you're talking about. He was all heart-eyes for Hyungwon," Kihyun slowly nodded.

"You're not helping," Hoseok muttered with gritted teeth. "I didn't expect Hyungwon to choose them over us like that."

"Come on, it's the first time someone is asking him to eat with them since, I don't know, ever."

Hoseok knew Kihyun was right. Hyungwon was not used to having other friends so it must be all new for him. He is probably happy to have someone who wants to hang out with him like that. It's not like he is purposefully picking those law students over Hoseok and Kihyun, he just wants to get to know his new friends as well. Hoseok sighed and focused on eating.

"Can we work on that project after this?" Kihyun suddenly switched the topic. "I kinda want to get it started already so we don't have to do it on the last day again."

"Sure. We can go to my place."

Since they didn't have any other lectures left that day, they headed to Hoseok's apartment after eating. Although Hoseok had cleaned the whole apartment just a couple days before, it was already looking messy in there. Kihyun didn't pay any attention to it since he was used to seeing the place like that. Being friends with those guys for years, he knew them well enough to not even expect their place to ever be clean. He sat down on the couch, having to move a few pieces of clothing to the side to make a good space for himself.

Hoseok sat on the other side of the couch and pulled out his laptop. They began working on the task, facing the first problem after only fifteen minutes.

"I really wish I could call Sun and ask her how to solve this," Kihyun groaned after they had spent almost half an hour on the same problem, still unable to get past it.

"She probably would figure out what we're doing wrong so quickly..."

"Why is she so smart I don't understand. She is good at everything," Kihyun's voice seemed to get lower as he talked about Sun and Hoseok gave him a curious look.

After the night that had caused them to get split up with Sun, he had started to notice some signs that Kihyun really might like Sun as well. Maybe it was just him being happy and honoured that someone liked him and it caused him to get interested or maybe he had liked Sun all along and was just getting more confident with it after learning the girl already liked him. As dense as Hoseok sometimes was when it came to relationships, he still knew there were some feelings going on between these two.

"Let's go," Hoseok said and stood up, walking to the front door of his apartment without waiting for Kihyun.

"What? Where?" Kihyun questioned as he slowly set down his laptop to walk after Hoseok.

"Bring your laptop with you."

He turned back to grab his laptop again and then followed Hoseok, who had already put on his shoes and stepped out of the apartment. Kihyun was still full of questions but Hoseok seemed to be in so much of a rush that he had no time to voice them and just tried to keep up with the fast pace. After a moment, he realized which direction they were going.

"Wait, no," Kihyun quickly said and stopped. Hoseok didn't bother waiting and grabbed his arm to pull him along.

"We have to do this now," he was determined and pulled Kihyun by the arm until they reached the door of a familiar apartment. Hoseok knocked right away, not giving Kihyun any time to mentally prepare.

The door opened slightly and Hoseok met Sun's eyes. Before the girl managed to slam the door back shut, Hoseok had already put his hand in between and pulled the door open with all his strength. He pushed unexpecting Kihyun inside and closed the door after him, locking him inside Sun's apartment. He leaned his body on the door as if to keep it closed in case either of the two would try to escape.

A silence followed. Hoseok had no idea what was happening inside of that apartment but hoped it was something more than two people staring at each other without saying anything. He waited for a few minutes and since nothing happened, he decided to go back to his own apartment.

He threw himself on the couch and turned on the TV, spending his next hours laying there, watching a series as he waited for Hyungwon to come home. It took longer than he expected and it was already past five when Hyungwon finally arrived, his appearance making Hoseok realize he had already watched almost four episodes without doing anything else.

"I took Kihyun to make up with Sun," he told his boyfriend who walked past the couch to go to the kitchen. It seemed like he was going to start studying.

"I think you're the one who should make up with her," Hyungwon said.

"I'm letting Kihyun take care of it first. Maybe she will forgive me easier after realizing this didn't ruin anything between her and Kihyun," Hoseok paused his drama and turned to lay on his stomach to look at Hyungwon, now sitting next to the kitchen table and arranging his study materials.

"How long has it been? Do you think they talked?"

"Three hours. I haven't heard anything from them so I don't know. It might be that they both hate me now," Hoseok realized Kihyun hadn't even sent him a message to let him know how it had gone.

"Sounds possible," Hyungwon said silently, his focus on the books in front of him.

Hoseok pouted and turned back to the series he was watching, deciding to call Kihyun later to ask him what had happened. He was slightly worried and realized his impulsive act of locking Kihyun in the same room with Sun, assuming they would just magically resolve all the tension between them, might not have been as good of an idea as it had seemed in the moment.
