The stars in the sky seemed nonexistent today. Just as my eyes adjusted to the dark surrounding, a bolt of white lightning broke the utter blackness, followed by softly splashing raindrops hitting my shoulders, as I walked forward.
"It's so dark and cold. Maybe I should have brought my umbrella." I sighed glancing at the dark clouds hovering above. It's indeed one of my worst days. I usually prided myself on my patience, but waiting for Jessie in these monstrous heels. Ughhhh!!!
Jessi as in Jessica, is my cousin. She was brought home by grandpa when she lost her family.Her father was murdered by traitors on a military mission. After her father's death Jessica's mother Cassandra, began to ignore her. The girl had lost her father too but instead of being the caring mother, Cassandra started taking drugs and borrowed money from loan sharks.
