Rei's annoyed glare was the heat of a thousand suns, the prick of a thousand needles and the weight of a thousand bricks all simultaneously. If Satoru wasn't the strongest jujutsu user in the world, he might have even sweat a drop or two. But instead, the amusement only grew and flickered behind his blindfold.
"What do you mean? I'm gonna go explore." Her voice left no room for argument, but who was Gojo Satoru if not a little shit? Wagging his pointer finger bag and forth, watching her eyes follow the movement, the heated gaze avoiding his own eyes.
"Nope! I've been ordered to keep an eye on you so you'll have to do me a favour and stick around for now!" Lacing his tone of voice was a light sense of hilarity, finding entertainment in the dilemma that leaked from Rei's body language.
I didn't come here to cause trouble... I really do just want to explore. Looking at Yuji, she thinks about the monstrous energy from within him and thinks of a certain yellow-haired shinobi. Well, things with Naruto are always interesting... I guess I could tag along and see what happens.
"You," she pointed at the teacher with some sort of newfound vigour, "what is your name?"
Blinking once, twice, the male smiles and bends into a mocking bow. "Gojo Satoru, Miss Rei."
Turning to face the two students, Rei steps forward with a silent step and looks them both in the eyes with dispassion. "I'll tag along," she starts her sentence with a tone of nonchalance which soon mixes with vexation, "as long as you keep him," her pointer finger points back to the white-haired man, "in check. I don't want him tying me up again, that was really uncomfortable." Something must have leaked through her expression, because with one glance at the woman they both nodded.
"By the way," the boy with black hair piques up, "why are we meeting in Harajuku?" He watches the hundred of people enter in and out of the busy town. The hustle and bustle of the ordinary people made Rei feel a little queasy— the streets of Konoha were never this busy and happy as there was always the looming threat of an attack or possibly war. The citizens of Konoha were always cautious, and there would always be an underlying tenseness under the polite smiles and conversations.
"She said she wanted to meet up here." Gojo replied, stuffing his hands into his trouser pockets. Yuji saw a nearby popcorn stand, and with eyes lighting up with childlike innocence exclaimed how he wanted the salty and sweet snack. And then, as if God was messing with them, as if God had orchestrated this entire fucking thing, a girl across the street started causing some ruckus. The first thing Rei had noticed about her was that the uniform was the made from the same material as the three men before her— her black button-down jacket was cropped at the stomach and her skirt cinched at her waist, flowing down knee length. Listening closely, Rei almost stared in disbelief at the girl offering herself as a model.
"That's kinda embarrassing..." Holding an ice-cream, a bag of popcorn and wearing some silly pair of glasses with numbers on them simultaneously, Yuji had mumbled with crumbs around his mouth. The black-haired male sighed in so much disdain that Rei almost laughed at his expression.
"So are you." It was short and curt, his response, and it did what it needed to do judging by the quiet hey! that left the sakura-haired male's mouth. Gojo ushered the girl over, who seemed to want to get things over and done with by the way she introduced herself almost immediately to the boys.
"I'm Kugisaki Nobara." Her hand rested on her waist in a sassy manner. "I'm the flower in a group of happy boys." Rei didn't understand what she meant, but it seemed like the only ordinary kid did as his facial expression turned blank. She could almost read what he was thinking, 'How annoying...'
