And when Meenakshi turned back, she was already being looked by Mehul.
Her husband, who left her all alone, who ran away with her daughter, who snatched away all the happiness from her family, was now standing infront of her after 21 years.

Mehul: Meenu.. kitne saal hogaye!
Meenakshi: Meri beti kaha hai Mehul?
Mehul: Apne pati se itne saal baad mil rahe ho..phir bhi..
Meenakshi: Mehul! Mai sirf apne beti se milne yaha aayi hu.
Mehul: Phone pe jab tum dono baat karre the..usne nahi bataya ki wo kaha thi?

Flashback

2 days before when Meenakshi was watching Abir and Mishti leave the house.

Meenakshi received a call.
Meenakshi: Jai shri krishna. Kaun?
Aarohi: Maa..
With a trembling voice, Aarohi who was in tears spoke.
Meenakshi was shocked. Her heart throbbed that it was her daughter who called her as 'Maa'.

Meenakshi: Aaru..
Aarohi: Maa..mai...mujhe..
Meenakshi: Aaru beta..kya hua?? Beta..kaha ho tum? Mai abhi aati hu..
Aarohi: Nahi maa! Mai aapse nahi mil sakti..mai aap sab ke pyaar ke layak nahi hu..mujhe maaf kar dijiye.
She broke down.
Meenakshi had a frown on her face.

Meenakshi: Beta..ye tum kya keh rahi ho..tum kaha ho ab?
Aarohi: Maa..I'm sorry..mujhe pata hi nahi tha ki meri bhi ek family hai..aur wo bhi..papa ke wajah se..aur..
The call got disconnected.
Meenakshi kept screaming 'hello' with tears in her eyes.

Paarul: Benbaa! Benbaa kya hua? Aap ro kyu rahi hai??
Paarul who came to her to give her the medicines, found her in a bad state. Composing Meenakshi, she gave her a glass of water which she reluctantly refused.

Meenakshi: Paarul..Aaru ka phone aaya..

Meenakshi: Pata nahi paarul..wo bahut ro rahi thi..aur mujhe lag raha hai ki wo kuch khatre me hai..
Nanu: Su baat che Meenu? Chilla kyu rahi thi?

Nanu who came up hearing her screams, was shocked to see Meenakshi crying. Meenakshi explained them the situation and immediately tried to track her location. But they failed as the phone was switched off.

Meenakshi: Bapuji..mai abhi Mumbai ke flight book karti hu..mujhe us admi se milna hai.
Kaushal: Par Meenu Ben..us aadmi se aapko khatra hai..aur..
Meenakshi: meri beti bhi khatre me hai kaushlu..mujhe jaana hi hoga. Abir aur Kunal ko koi phone nahi karega, and..us Mishti aur Kuhu ko bhi.
She said looking towards paarul as she had developed good relations with the sisters.

Paarul nodded her head and then everyone bid Meenakshi to the airport. She called Mehul and asked him to meet her. He agreed.

Flashback ends

Meenakshi: Mehul! Ekkis saal pehle tumne jo galat kaam kiya..uske saza mai aaj bhi kaat rahi hu..ab ye natak aur din nahi chalegi! Maa ambe ki saugand mai tumhare haalat itna bigad dungi..ki tum jeene ki bhi ummeed chod doge..kaha hai meri beti!?
Mehul: Are patni ji..aapke beton ko hi puch lijiye..

Meenakshi: Kya bol rahe ho tum?
Mehul: Sach! Aarohi ko accident hua hai..aur wo bhi us wakt jab wo tumse Phone pe baat karri thi. Abhi hospital me hai.
Meenakshi was flabbergasted. She couldn't register what he had just uttered. And without wasting a second, she held his collar and started shouting.

Meenakshi: Mehul! Agar meri beti ko kuch hua to tumhe mai zinda nahi chodungi!! Kaha hai wo??
Mehul: Meenakshi! Behave! Ye mandir hai..Rajvansh sadan nahi!
Meenakshi: Kaunsi hospital? Batao!
Mehul: Mera collar chodo! Mai tumhe le jaunga.
And she immediately fled with him who directed her to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Abir and Kunal received the news that Meenakshi was going to arrive. Nanu had called and informed them as he couldn't resist anymore. Hearing what happened between Aarohi and Meenakshi, the brothers and sisters were shocked.

Mishti: Abir..mujhe lagta hai isiliye Aaru ka accident hua..because she was talking to aunty. Aur uska dhyaan driving pe nahi tha..
Kuhu: #yes. Aur ab aunty yaha aane wali hai..mujhe to abhi #darr lag rahi hai..

Kunal: Darr kyu? Wo tumhe kha thodi jayegi Kuhu! And wait a second..tumhe kaise koi kha sakta hai..tum hi doosron ka sar khati ho!
Abir: Woah bro! That was a good burn nanko!

Kuhu was huffing like an angry bull and Kunal was giving all innocent looks that she would melt. But this time it didn't work out.
Kuhu: Yaha mai #aunty ke baare me baat karri hu aur tumhe #mere insult ki padi hai na! How #responsible Mr.Khadoos Rajvansh!

Mishti rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. Abir noticed it and put his hand on her shoulder.
Abir: Kya madam? Abhi se thak gayi..maa aarahi hai your favourite human!
Mishti: Wow Abir..ab tum bhi shuru hogaye! And what's this favourite human? Seriously?
Abir controlled his laughter and showed her Kuhu who was bashing Kunal.

Both let out a giggle and were staring at them. Mishti got serious and asked Abir.
Mishti: Abir..Aaru abhi tak sirf ek response diya hai..and jab aunty ayegi..to hum unhe handle kar payenge?
Abir: Mishti..don't worry. Maa is stronger than what we think. Mujhe lagta hai wo infact Aaru ko aur himmat dengi. Isiliye mai aur nanko itna chill hai. And agar unhone aise nahi react kiya..to hum unko support karenge.

And at the same time, Meenakshi came running near the ICU. Abir and Kunal were shocked seeing her scared. She immediately asked the nurse to let her in as soon as she came near the door. She didn't even realise that her sons were standing infront of her.

Meenakshi: Nurse..meri beti! Mujhe andar jaane dijiye..mujhe usse milna hai..
Nurse: Dekhiye..abhi visiting hours ka time nahi hua hai. Please aap wait kijiye.
But she was adamant. She started shouting and Abir had to bring her back near the waiting area.

Meenakshi: Abir..Aaru!
She started crying and everyone there were shocked. Kunal kept rubbing her hand while she had rested her head on Abir's shoulder.

And then Mehul stepped near them..

Long time.. how're you guys??

Hoping everyone's safe and here's the update finally!

The college exams have been finished but my boards are postponed due to covid! Ughh man this sucks!!

And..I'm really sorry for such a boring update..trust me the chapter was something else and it turned out to be this when I started writing..

And hereafter, I'm going to update regularly with max 3-4 updates per week. Because ab sab kuch online chal raha hai! And I'm damn free😂

Please don't mind the spelling mistakes..sometimes autocorrect does its kamaal😂😂 and my phone's screen is in very bad condition 😌
