18. Toy Car Dates

A move wakes me up, and its Charlie laying just next to my belly, and rubbing it slowly, "Good morning" i whisper, and brush his hair off his face, "Morning, how are you feeling?" he asks, not looking at me, looking at my belly, "Im feeling fine, but im hungry" i say, standing up and going to the kitchen "Morning Liv" Sav says, handing me coffee

"What are you guys going to do?" Owen asks and gives a big bite to his bagel, "Yesterday I made an appointment with the doctor" Charlie answers chill, i choke with my coffee "At 11 am" he keeps

After we shower and we are ready to go, i feel like i need to tell him, we head to the park, its all alone just us

"Listen, i need to tell you something" i say, he squeeze my hand, "What is it?"

"Im not pregnant" i say low, he looks confused, "Sav gave me a fake test, its for pranks, i thought you would be mad or something so it would be a great prank, im sorry" i say looking at the floor

"Listen, i want to do, so much stuff before being a dad, but i was kind of excited for it too" he says giggling "Its fine Liv, just dont make Sav pranks ever again"

"Promise"i answer, he stares at the floor, giving me the feeling that he is not ok about it "Im sorry, i didnt mean to hurt you, i know you want a kid but-" he didnt even let me finish "But its your body, and perhaps i wanted to be real, but we are not ready" he finishes, he gives me a warm smile, i nodd, and look at the sky, and everyone can feel his looks going from my stomach to the floor and back

We head home after, Charlie call the doctor, and cancels the appointment, we walk in and Sav raise her arms to the air "i told him, we are fine" i say, closing the door "We are sorry, we thought you would react not so excited" Owen apologizes, Charlie nodds

"So, what are we doing today?" Charlie asks, droping his body on my bed, "I dont know, what do you wanna do?" i say, sitting next to him, "maybe, we can make a baby..." He jokes chuckling, lifting his look at me, i look at him, with a death look, he stops he chuckles and nodds "Sorry" he mumbles, we stay quiet, thinking about what to do

"I want a car" He says concentrated, looking at the ceiling, i stare at him, seriously "You already have one" i say
"But not a toy car, the big ones, i want one" he laughs

"Lol, i want one too, lets go buy them" i suggets, he quickly picks me, over his shoulders, runs to the car, start it

As soon as we get to the toy store, he pulls me to the toy cars, with so much colors, he rubs his chin and looks at the toy cars like he is choosing a real car, "Look this one, you can open the doors" he squeals, opening the door of the car "You cant get in there, but look at this" i point at the seats, that Obviously he doesnt fit, he rolls his eyes like a little kid, fold his arms and walks by the other cars

He knees in the floor and touch the wheels "good wheels, huh?" i joke, he nodds and pats the wheels "Good ones" he keeps

After a few cars, we get to some cool ones "I want that" he points at a neon orange car, just like his, he sits inside the car and start driving, the workers of the store already saw us looking for cars for hours, they realized it was for us, a worker gets close to Charlie, who still inside the car "How do you feel it man?" the worker jokes, "fine, imma go with this one" Charlie says, getting off the car, "Which one do you want?" he asks

"i want that neon lilac" i point at it, "Great choice ma'am" the guy says and pulls the car "Im gonna pay" Charlie says, before he could turn around, i give him my card, he shakes his head "When you'll learn I don't want you to pay" he says rolling his eyes and pushing the card to me, he leaves to the other room to pay

"first date? Best friend?" the guy Blurts "this is a very frequent idea for a date, if not a date, i have other ideas i can take you out to" he says giggling, actually he is very respectfull
"We are dating actually, great pick up line tho" i laugh, he steps back ans laughs "Oh sorry, imma take the cars to your car" he says, picking a car up, i lean to pick the other one, Charlie quickly push me and he picks it

"what kind of gentleman would i be?" he jokes, he stops his walk and looks at me over his shoulder "Also i know you love looking at my arms like this" he winks, and its totally true, he knows it because im staring

As soon as we get to the house, we start driving around the house, Charlie put tape on the floor, to make streets and stop signs around the house, Owen comes in and just stays amused by our creativity "Where is ours?" He yells, Charlie and i just shrug and keep driving

After 2 hours, he and Sav put two cars on the entrance Sav's pink, and Owen's Yellow

We drive around, and honk, all the time, "You are such a bad driver" Charlie complains to Sav, "You hit ny car twice, stay away from me" he jokes, driving away from sav, we even, but Charlie's car run out of battery "Hold on, hold on, i gotta charge my baby" he yells, driving with the bit of bettery left he has to the cable

"imma charge mine too" i yell, driving to the cable in my room, everyone drives to their rooms and charge it

"That was fun" i say, "Yeah, but Charlie ruined it" Owen jokes, we laughs, Owen and Sav begin with they couple stuff, so Char and i just talk

"Did you liked it" he asks kissing softly my nose "Yeah, we should do stuff like this more often" i reply
