"This boy- I feel I know him. Zhan isn't he Wangyi??"
"Wangyi??" Zhan asked confused.
"Ahh I must have misunderstood. There's no way this would be him." Dr Wang mumbled shaking his head.
"What happened Uncle??" Zhan asked looking at the doctor's distressed face. "Nothing Zhan I just remembered an old friend so I thought this might be his son. But there's no way that boy died years ago." He sighed.
"Anyway I suggest someone to take care of him tonight as he may or may not have a nightmare. And apply this medicine on his wounds. The cuts needs to be bandage so I will come tomorrow again to check on him." He said. Zhan nodded. Lam helped the doctor to the door.
"Zhan seems close to the boy?? " he asked lam and Xu ma as he knew they both were the closest to the heir. Xu ma nodded enthusiastically.
"They are. The boy is even close to a-xin." She smiled. Dr Wang smiled back.
"He is masters secretary at the office." Lam said. The doctor grinned. He had been the doctor of this household for years and he knew how lonely and sad Zhan felt after death of his sister, parents and brother-in-law. Pei Xin was the only ray of light in his life.
Zhan was sitting on the bed while looking at Yibo. He didn't know why he felt so attracted towards the boy. Something he never felt to anyone else.
He had seen many beautiful men and women yet they only made him feel disgusted. But Yibo was different. Just by his one smile he could make Zhans heart skip beats. He sighed.
He shouldn't have this feelings for Yibo. He is already tied to someone. How much he wished that someone would be Yibo.
He realised that it never mattered to him what happened to Yibo in his past, weather he had a baby or not he was attracted to the younger like a magnet.
He shook his head and tucked Yibo properly. He went to his room and took a shower. Xu ma served him his dinner. Once again he was eating his dinner alone.
When was the last time he ate with his family. Maybe years ago. Even though he had a-xin yet the boy was small and he mostly late so they never had a chance to have dinner together.
After that he went to his study and took some of his files and came to the guest room where Yibo was. This way he could read his files and also look after Yibo.
He sat on the bed and started checking his file. It was almost 1 am when he heard a small whimper. He looked beside him and saw Yibo frowning.
He was having a dream most probably. Dr Wang had said Yibo was given high dose medicine so he won't wake up any time soon.
"Mama...bo.. don't..dada....save....bobo. gege..bo..hurts... don't.... don't." Yibo started crying in his sleep. His body was trembling badly. Zhan kept his files away and came near Yibo and held him close.
"Hey..Yibo..calm down. Everything's alright. You're safe. Shh." He coaxed tet the younger was crying and wailing in his sleep.
"Don't....don't touch... don't touch me.. please...hurts...uwahh...dada..jie..save.... Bobo." He wailed louder.
Zhan felt his eyes tear up. He wanted to kill Zanjin for what he did to Yibo. "Yibo..Yibo ..baby..calm down..dear . No one will hurt you " he said hugging Yibo protectively.
Yibo cried for a while then calmed down. He snuggled closer to the warmth of Zhan while the other held him as if he was a glass doll.
Zhan hugged Yibo closer to him and laid on the bed with the youngers head on his chest. Yibo looked so cute, so adorable and innocent. That Zhan wanted to hide him away from everyone. He sighed.
He was reading the files about his XW property. It was around 1/5 of his buisness property which was huge. Yet they were important shares as he had worked hard to earn them. He really didn't want to lose them yet now it felt as if he had no choice.
On top of that he recieved another court notice for Peixin's custody. He didn't know what new game the old man was going to play now.
In this last few weeks he felt so frustrated and irritated that he really wanted to kill someone. He sighed and closed his eyes. And slowly drifted off to sleep.
He woke up listening to Yibo groaning again. He looked beside him. Yibo wasn't having any nightmares this time. It was his wounds that were hurting him. Zhan looked at him and saw him gulping.
"Wa..water" Yibo mumbled. Zhan got up and took a glass of water Xu ma had brought earlier. He slowly called Yibo but the younger had no plan of getting up. It was mostly the affect of medicine. Zhan held Yibo up a little and brought the glass near his lips.
He tilted a glass a bit so Yibo could drink but sighed when he saw Yibo struggling. A straw would not help what then he thought?? If he won't drink then his throat would get dry, maybe hoarse or even pain.
He groaned and took a mouthful of water. He brought it near yibo's lips and smashed there lips together. He forced the water from his mouth to yibo's mouth. He looked as the boy gulped the water. He repeated the process till half of the glass was empty. He placed the glass aside and wiped yibo's lips.
He gulped at the sight of red petal like lips. He unconsciously brought his lips closer to Yibo but before he could touch he slapped himself. He quickly ran towards the bathroom and splashed water on his face.
"What in the world you were doing Xiao Zhan?? Stealing kiss from Yibo when he is unwell." He groaned at himself. After lecturing himself for 15 mins looking at the mirror he got out and went towards the bed.
He lied down and next moment Yibo snuggled closer to him. He sighed. He didn't care. He held Yibo close and let sleep consume him.
