Chapter 3 (New job)

Yibo arrived at the building. He dressed himself in suite that made him look more mature (according to him)

He was mesmerized by the tall, beautiful building. It's been a while since he worked at such a big place. He knew his work would be hard but he needed this job to fulfill his and a-xing s needs. He was observing everything carefully.
"Are you Mr. Lan Yibo?"a voice startled him. He turned and saw a handsome young man in suite with a beautiful smile. He smiled in return,

"Yes Mr. Li, my name is Lan Yibo."
he said with a bow.
"Oh you remember my name. Please follow me."
"Yah you said it during interview." he answered following the man.
"Please call me wen or bowen. It's more convenient."
"But-"
"No buts you are like my didi" he said with a smile.
Yibo for a while and smiled brightly.
"I shall call you wen ge than"
"Alright."
They walked to the lift. Bowen pressed the 30th floor. Ceo's room. Yibo looked at him. As if sensing his gaze.
"Yibo you are going to work with our CEO in entertainment department as he is the current head. You will work as his secretary." He said calmly.
Yibo nodded in understanding.
"Yibo" bowen called.
"Hmm"
"Our CEO is bit cold and strict when it comes to work. But he has a very kind heart. He may be even rude sometimes. And don't ask too many questions. Just do the work he assigns you."
"Understandable, but why-" he was cut of.
"Actually you are his 10th secretary. But I believe in you"
Yibo widened his eyes at the statement. Was the man enjoying himself by firing people.
"You see our CEO is a rich young man and also very good looking at that. And he isn't at all interested in a relationship." he chuckled.
Yibo understood now, he had seen this type of people earlier who tries to seduce other. He isn't like that. But bowen was trusting him too much. Even more than himself.
"You can do it for your son" he said sensing others nervousness.
Yibo looked at him with extra wide eyes.
"I read your file. When I say I read it I truly READ it" he says emphasising the word read.
They reach the door bowen smiles at him. After listening at the CEO he truly feels nervous. His age is also one of the reason he gets rejected sometimes while some were just perverts. And he can't repeat the same mistake he did years ago. CEO Xiao Zhan he sees written on the door
Li Bowen knocks the door.
"Come in" says a cold voice.
They enters. Yibo sees the man. He indeed is handsome. Sitting on his chair the man is reading a file. He don't even bothers to look up when Yibo is been introduced by bowen.
"Hello Mr. Xiao. My name is Lan Yibo." He says trying his best to sound mature.
Xiao Zhan looks at him. There eyes meet and shock is evident in olders face. He then looks at lan.
"Mr. Lan Yibo can you wait outside" at that moment Yibo knew he doomed.
"Yes sir" he replies and walks out of the room pouting looking like a kicked puppy.
After 5 mins he is again called in. His boss gave him some instructions while asked to not to disturb him. He had some questions but-"Any questions ask bowen. Now you may go"

Earlier
Zhans pov
It has been hectic to manage all these entertainment department works. I haven't even got enough time to spend with peixin. But I am glad that he got a new friend. I asked his principal about this student named Fanxing. He said that the boy is smart and has a single mother. Wang Fanxing his name. Wangs, no there's no chance that the boy is from that family. I should stop thinking.
I started to work on that fucking entertainment department. It's the worst to handle it alone. Li hyung said today a new secretary will arrive. I dunno how that person is gonna be. I got to my work. There were many files from different departments. I heard a knock,
"Come in" I said.
Hyung started to introduce the person. Oh it's a guy. Anyway I didn't pay any attention. Suddenly I heard a sweet voice.
"Hello Mr. Xiao. My name is Lan Yibo."
I looked up and my heart started beating loudly. A young boy maybe in his 20s. Beautiful is the word that came to my mind. I never cared about looks of people. But this.. It just seems like an angel arrived on the earth. His baby white skin, honey brown eyes, cute nose and those pulpy cherry like red lips.
What the hell Xiao Zhan are you thinking he is a boy. You were never interested in boys. I looked at Li hyung who was standing there with a smirk on his face.
"Mr. Lan Yibo can you wait outside" I said coldly. It's how I am.
"Yes sir" came a small voice. He walked out of the room like a kicked puppy with a pout on his face. My heart stopped. How can someone be so beautiful.
Hyung cleared his throat and I realised that I was still looking at the door. I gave him a cold look.
"Isn't he-" before I could speak " Zhan if you are thinking that he is too young for this post then let him try first before any decision." He seems confident in this little baby boy. I decided to trust hyung. His decisions were always good for me. I nodded.
"By the way Zhan stop drooling."he teased with an idiotic grin. I glared at him. And he called boy. I just gave him some instructions and they both left. I wish atleast he does his work properly. Hyung showed him his seat. Its a small glass office. I can clearly see him from my office. Hmm I have to say the little guy was indeed a fast learner. Let's see if how long he can stay here.
I again concentrated on my work.
End of Zhans pov.

Yibo was taken to a small glass office. He really liked the little office. Bowen taught him about the area i.e entertainment department he had to concentrate.
"Our company is best at every fields from financial, educational to medical. It only lacks a bit in this field i.e entertainment. Boss had tried many times he is even successful but he isn't at all interested in this fields."Bowen explained.
"Your work is to manage that department which is currently under our boss. So for now you have to just help him with projects and files."
Yibo nodded understanding. The older guy explained a bit more and Yibo asked some questions. Anyone could see that Yibo was a fast learner. Bowen smiled knowing he did a right choice.
"If you have any doubt you can ask me. I am in there." He said pointing to an office. Yibo smiled and bowed.
"Thanks ge for your help." Bowen just smiled in return.
After Li Bowen left, Yibo immediately got to the work. He had never been someone's secretary. The last time he used to help his dad in there buisness when he was young.
It wasn't that hard for him. He could see that the plans and files just had some minor errors. He corrected many off them. Time passed by. It was almost 4 pm. And in an hour he could go home. Yibo collected the files that needed his boss sign and kept them separately. And started working on another file. He was so engrossed in the work that he didn't notice someone in front of him.
"Ahem" he heard someone clearing throat. He immediately stood up and saw his boss.
"Yes sir do you need something."
"Yes Fosters project file" he said coldly.
Yibo quickly took out the file and handed it to Zhan who nodded.
"It needs your sign sir" Yibo said with a small smile. He was habituated to smile. Even if he is in pain he was able to hide it behind his smile always.
Zhan again nodded and walked towards bowens office. Yibo sat down again and continued his work. After a while he saw his boss along with Wen ge coming out. He stood up and bowed. Zhan just nod and wen ge smiled.
"Yibo you can leave now. We have a meeting to attend." He said.
Yibo looked at his watch and then at the files. He still had half hour to leave.
"No one enters this floor if we are absent"Zhan said coldly. So Yibo quickly bowed and arranged all his files and desk within minutes and together they all left. They entered a private lift. And Yibo understood that on the 17th floor there are only three offices. A big office that has another connected office which belongs to there boss Xiao Zhan. Then another office that belongs to Li Bowen and now the final one a glass office that is his for now. There are seperate lifts too. All in all Yibo thinks the office is quite similar to his dad's. Only if his parents were alive. He and his baby would be safe from those beasts. They reach the ground floor. Yibo once again bows to the duo thanking and wishing good night, he left for the day care center to pick his son.
Unknown to him a pair of eyes were watching him run towards the bus stop.
"So how's he?" Bowen asks Zhan who was reading the files Yibo had submitted.
"Not bad" he replied. He had to agree that there were not even a single mistake. Atleast now he didn't need to work overtime due to his secretary's mistakes in files.
Li Bowen was smiling happily even though Zhan will not admit in voice he could see the younger was satisfied with yibo's work.
