Finding Yourself (Ghostinnit story)

Chapter 26: The fight

An explosion went off and it shook the entire mansion. Dream and Ghostinnit whipped around to see where it came from. That's when Dream knew...They're here. He ran to one of the windows and looked out. The entrance was completely broken, along with some of the wall.

Dream grabbed Ghostinnit's hand and ran with him. The lava may have burned him, but he didn't care. He knew he had to hide Ghostinnit before they came in. They ran down the halls towards the library. Here they jumped into the painting.

Within the room, it held much valuable stuff that could be used to defeat anyone. Dream grabbed some of the stuff while forcing Ghostinnit to sit down. He put on the armor and grabbed his very good axe. He brewed some strength potions and grabbed enchanted bottles. He needed to be prepared.

"Dream, what's going on?" Ghostinnit asked, scared.

"They found us Tommy. You're gonna stay in here until I get back. Don't move from this spot. I don't know what they'll do when they find you at all." Dream said, shoving a bunch of food into his inventory.

"I can help! I'm already dead, they can't hurt me."

"Tommy, they are hunting you down. There are ways to kill a ghost. I don't want you to fight."

"But Dream, what if you get hurt? They could kill you!"

"I don't care if I get hurt. I'm not gonna let them find you no matter what. I can't let them find you, which is why I need you to stay put in here."

Ghostinnit looked up in shock as his only friend was gonna probably die protecting him. Dream got all his stuff and started to walk outside the painting. Ghostinnit wanted to follow, but had to stay.

"Stay here, don't move." Dream walked out of the room leaving Ghostinnit all alone.

He knew he had to help. He grabbed some materials and quietly walked outside the painting. He slowly followed Dream, not wanting to give away where he was. He watched as Dream walked out towards a bunch of people holding weapons and looked angry. Ghostinnit hid behind the doorway so that no one could see him, clutching the sword.

"What are you doing here? How did you find this place?" Dream asked.

"Shut up and tell us where Tommy is." Phil said.

"He's not here, I'll tell you that."

Techno tossed the compass that pointed to Tommy over to Dream. He looked down at the compass and saw that it was pointing past him, towards the mansion. He knew he had been found.

"Listen, I'm trying to keep Tommy safe. So if you could please just-"

"Shut up Dream! Just tell us where he is. I want Tommy back!" Tubbo screamed.

Dream scoffed under his mask, then grinned. If they were gonna take Tommy, they needed to get through him first. Dream launched an arrow up into the air and took out his axe, going for Phil. Ranboo blocked Dream's hit and they all began to fight. Each of them trying to get to dream, but he was using strength to run and hit.

Dream ran towards Tubbo and hit him down to the ground. He raised his axe and swung it down. Tubbo moved out of the way before the axe could hit him, but that doesn't mean he didn't get hurt. Before he could stand and run, Dream pulled him back down to the ground and injured his leg. Tubbo screamed in pain and tried to get Dream off of him.

Bad, Ant, and Sam grabbed Dream and tried to keep him away from Tubbo. Dream used an ender pearl and pearled away. A ended up against the wall. He turned around to see Techno standing above him, holding a sword. Techno looked very angry and no one dared to come near them.

"So Dream, are you gonna tell me where my brother is?" Techno asked clutching the sword tighter when he saw Dream.

"Oh come on Techno, why do you care about him? He told me all the stuff that you did to him when he was younger."

"I was a good brother, Dream and cared for him. Now tell me where he is or you die. The voices demand blood."

"Well, I guess I choose death." Dream said.

Techno raised his sword and began to bring it down. Before it hit Dream, something blocked it. Techno looked up and saw a sword blocking him from Dream. Ghostinnit was holding the sword. He was keeping Dream from getting hurt.

"T-tommy? What are you doing?"

"Leave him be."
