She was too young to see it coming. It came to fast. Too fast for a girl of her age. The shadow pounced on it's prey and shattered its Joy. She was a pain. A raw pain. The person she had trusted ruined her _ her dad.

That night, she had sat on the porch listening to her dad yelling at her mom. It was not a new thing to her; but it was always shocking.

Her father's love at the beginning had been so smooth and lovely, but he changed.

Into something worse.

Something bad.

Something disastrous.

She thought it was only the yells and groans, but he wanted something more. Something she couldn't give.

Her mom.

Her dad had yelled at her and dragged her by her hair to the dimmed lighted room. She remembered him kicking the woman's tummy and sending her wincing in pain; but he didn't care.

Then he brought out the devil, what his daughter feared most_ a pistol.

He had pointed it at his wife hut his daughter wouldn't see that. She screamed at her dad to drop the laser but is seemed the old man wasn't in for something new.

Then she was dead.

Her lovely momma.

He had shot the laser straight at the woman on the floor. The bullet stuck her skull, smearing blood on the girl she had birthed.

The little girl remembered her mother's last word.
"Be a good girl for momma hunny" and her eyes went shut.

Emma was to shocked to react, the blood on her hoodie was fresh_and a pain.

Her dad bounded her to the small spooky warehouse where no one could find her and locked her there to strive for her self. The little girl had cried in the warehouse and shouted for help but her dad was gone.

He was coming back for her.

Maybe not now.

But in the future.

Her life had been so complicated, things were being bad for her.
Life was hard and difficult to walk through.
