That day when I met the coffee shop boy 

George Shelley fanfic -Part 1

Again i was back to school, the Christmas holidays are done but the terrible cold and wet weather stayed put, I wrapped up warm, coat, scarf, gloves, I was ready to school, shouting goodbye to my mum, I headed out into the snow and the dark 7:20am Monday morning to make my way to the bus stop. When I got there, I waited for my bus, it usually comes at 7:30 so I had 5 minutes to wait, on my own. Eventually it was 7:50 my bus was never going to bloody come because if this fucking weather, i would ask my mum for a lift butshe had already left to go to work in London which was no use as i was all the way in Kent. Standing freezing cold I had to walk, it would take me HOURS as its usually a 40 minutes bus journey itself along the main road, great, I was going to be so late!

The main road was dangerous to walk to school down as it didn't have a side path, so I had to take and extra long way, through the villages and the back routes to school. As I walked down the village  centre I saw a Coffee shop, it must of been new as I haven't seen it before. If I was going to be another 5 minutes late... surely it wouldn't matter, so I decided to in and order myself a drink to try and warm myself up. I entered in the shop, it was so nice and warm, i walked up to the counter and looked at the menu.....after a while of deciding to order i thought i'd buy a hot chocolate, with cream of course!.....

*THUD*

My track of thought stopped, and Instead focusing on this gorgeous boy behind the counter, he looked around my age, maybe older as i was in my last year of school in 6th form and he looked just around a year older and so was working now. I had never seen him around this area before, i had lived here all my life, he had brown hair messily sweaped to one side, big brown eyes that shimmered in the light and a wide sweet smile, I herd him laughing, more like a giggle but it was the cutest and purest thing I've ever heard. It caused me to feel weak in the knee's as i got lost in the gaze of this coffee shop boy.

"Hello? Helloooo?" I heard, shit! snap out of it Katie! I awoke from my day dream and came back into realisation, The coffee boy had been trying to get my attention and there i was completely ignoring him! 

"Oh! urm... sorry!" i stuttered, what was i doing!? I was never like this around boys, i had mates who was boys but i never felt like this when i was talking to one before! There it was, his sweet little giggle, he smiled as he laughed at me, still not knowing what to say, i caught a glims at his name tag... George... i liked that name, no, i loved it, and it suitted him perfectly... well of couse it would, thats his name after all...

"What would you like to order? helloo? Miss?" SHIT there i go again away on a daydream lost in my mind, i was ignoring him again! How embarrising!

"Oh im so sorry i was just...urm....daydreaming...um.... oh yeah! A hot chocolate with cream please" i asked, he smiled as he asked for my name, "Katie" I replied, 

"Oh thats a nice name! With an '-Y' or '-ie'?" he said, still smiling as he started to write on a cup,

"-ie" i replied and smiled, as i started to walk away from the counter i realised that i needed it to go, i ran back looking like a fool and spoke over the counter, "Urm.. can i have that to go please!?" George snapped his head round and giggled again, "Sure" he looked deep into my eyes and smiled, then he got back to work, i sat down at a table and started texting my best friend, Holly, letting her know about the whole bus problems and how i was going to be late for school,

"Hey Holly, going to be sooooooo late to school, bloody bus didnt come, i need to tell you smething URGENT when i get there tho ;) xxx"

a few minutes later, i got a reply, 

"Ahh leaving me on my own then in school eh ;) and ooooww i want to know NOW!" xxx

I repleid " Nah babe you'll have to wait haha ;) Love youuuu xx"

 After i finished texting holly, i had nothing much else to do apart from wait for my drink, so i decided to go onto twitter...

-"Busses are so damm shit around here going to be latee"

I tweeted, after a while scrolling through my boring timeline i heard that sweet innocent giggle again, it was George, i looked up and there he was standing beside me holding my hot chocolate, "Here Katie... urm i'll guess i'll see you around" He placed my drink my my table and jogged back to the counter and started serving some other people, still giggling, i smiled, he was so cute, i grabbed my cup and walked out of the shop and then looked what was written... as well as my name underneath was a number.... GEORGES number! i gasped and looked in the shop window to face George, he looked at me and smiled, i could see his face turned red like a tomato, he was so sweet. i slowly sipped my drink as it was extremly hot and made my way to school...
