I was really confused, i thought Mum was still on holiday, what's she doing home so soon?
Soon as I got home, I rushed into the kitchen to greet my mum,
"Hey mum, how come your home so soon?"
"Hi Katie... I have some important news to tell you, I had to rush back from holiday, but this is very important"
"Um... What is it?....." I asked anxiously
"Listen, you know that there's this promotion In work, and I've dreamed of doing since I was little?"
"Yeah..." I replied cottoning on
"KATIE I GOT THE JOB!"
"Mum I'm so proud of you!!" I screamed!
"But Katie, there's one thing that has a major part in this job...."
"Go on..."
"It's in Perth, Australia!"
"OMG I've dreamed of living there since I was little!"
"I know! It's going to be amazing!"
But then i realised, what about George....
"How long for?" I asked,
"8 months, until September, them they are relocating us back to England"
"Why can't you stay here?"
"You know why katie, there's two parts to this job, one part is in Australia, the other part you finish here"
"When are we leaving?"
"Tomorrow morning, so tell your friends quickly now, and then you need to pack, you have an hour, we have A LOT to do"
I ran out the room and called holly straight away,
"Holly..."
"Yeah?"
"I'm moving" she hung up, a few minutes later the doorbell rung, I ran downstairs and opened it, holly was there, I stepped outside and shut the door behind me.
We stood outside and both bawled into tears hugging each other,
"Why?! Please don't do this too me Katie" she said through tears,
I explained what was happening as we stood outside in the January frost bawling our eyes out for 15 minutes, we decided to take one last trip to the shops together and have one last costa as we spent fifteen more minutes together.
"Holly I made sure I came to your first because you've always been here for me, ill never ever forget you, we've been through everything together, I love you Gurl! Sisters yeah?"
"Sisters" she smiled, as we hugged for the last time,
"I have to go now, I only have an half an hour left to tell George because then I have to pack, ill Skype you every single day!"
"Promise?"
"I promise!"
"Text me when your leaving for the airport so I can see you off"
"As If I wasn't not going to" that didn't make sense, we both laughed and made our separate ways home.
(A/N I rushed Holly's because I wanted to spend more time on George's)
