Chapter three~

Footsteps were echoing throughout our dorm... My heart beat faster as each millisecond past. Help, help us please! I couldn't think properly, I couldn't control my breathing. Adeline must've noticed because she looked at me with sympathy. I was outraged. she didn't look or sound like she was scared at all! I could make out her silhouette and I could tell she was not shaking in fear as much as I was. As a matter of fact, she wasn't shaking at all. Most of all, she had a little smirk on her face. "Aren't you scared at all!?" She shrugged and said nothing, "Well? Are you gonna say something or not?" My tone of voice was even more intense now. "It's probably other sorority girls trying to prank us, you know how rough college is." I was completely and utterly shocked by her response, "What do you mean... a prank...?!" She let out a small giggle-like laughter. I glared at her, as if beams of red light were to shoot out of my eyes at that second. I coudn't believe it! She tricked me... I was astonished at what she had planned to do. i let out a sigh, "Why?" Out of all people, why her?! My mind went blank, finally, I let out a long and exhausted sigh, "That's it," my voice was tired and raspy, "I'm out of here." I couldn't stand being in the same room as that traitor. I pushed the closet door open and I saw him.... Jeff, standing right in front of me and smiling his grotesque smile. A killer, my new obsession. Not anymore... My knees grew weak and my voice had abandoned me, "J-Jeff?" "Hello again, darling." Everything went black.

I woke up. The room was poorly lit, just by torches gently kissed by fire lit the halls of the so-called dungeon... As usual, it has spiders, bats, and other stuff. I'm dreaming... I-I have to be! I couldn't think straight. The line between dream and reality blurred. I couldn't tell which is which, until I heard his voice.... I knew absolutely where I was... "Everything willl be okay babe, no worries!" I winced at the sound of his voice, "What am I doing here?" He must've noticed the sudden panic in my voice, he let out a soft chuckle, "Don't worry, I won't hurt you even if I wanted to." I stayed silent, so he continued to talk, "I have to keep you alive for Slenderman." I knew it... Jeff was being Slender's proxy for the night so he can find a way to finally kill me, "Why does Slender want me?" I snorted, "Out of all the damn people in the world, WHY ME?!" Jeff winced at how loud I became.

"SHUT UP?!" I hid away in fright. "I was told by him to bring you to him, nothing else, so don't expect anything special like I'm going to help you escape or something." He laughed and my cheeks turned 50 shades of crimson. "H-How did you know what I was thinking?" "It was so EASY to predict what high school girls like you were hoping for." He let out another period of laughter as my cheeks turned a darker red. "What are you saying, girls like me are predictable?" His laugter got more wilder, "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS SAYING!" More histerical laughter came from the infamous killer and within a few seconds he was as quiet as a fox, "Can we go ow, I'd rather be at his place than be here with you and your bullshit." I turned around on my hel and started to walk towards the exit of the room. I could've sworn he was smirking at me......
