I was trying to get all my stuff together, I was shoving everything into my bag while my friends stood there and waited.

"Go on without me I cant find my Bracelet" I said, they nodded "See you in the great hall" Lavender said and walked out.

I searched more for my bracelet and found it under a chair.

I got up and held my bag and started to walk,

I saw Neville walking silently behind, Hermione, Harry and Ron, I began to walk with him.

"Hey." He said "How are you." He said glancing at Cedric's bracelet "Fine, For now." I said

He nodded.

I saw a glance of bleach blonde hair coming my way

I took a breath and tried to ignore him.

Once he got closer i heard "Your pretty boy isn't here to protect you anymore." I let out the breath and looked forward, Neville had the angriest look on his face i've seen in a while.

I turned him forward and kept walking.

"I'm surprised the ministry lets you walk around free, Potter. Better enjoy it while you can. I expect there's a cell in azkaban with your name on it." I heard Malfoy say whilst he passed Harry.

Harry threw himself forward but was held back by Ron.

Malfoy and his goons kept walking passed.

Me and Neville caught up with Harry, Ron, And Hermione.

"Not a day without conflict with him yeah?" I said and Ron nodded.

We continued walking and we got to the carriages, We watched as Cho and her friends carriage walked off.

Harry turned around and was looking into space.

"What is it?" He asked

"What's what?" Ron asked, I looked at Neville weirdly and he shrugged.

"That pulling the carriage." Harry said.

"Nothing's pulling the carriage Harry" Hermione said

"Nothing ever has. It's pulling itself like always." I said.

Harry began walking towards the carriage.

"You're not going mad, I can see them too, you're just as sane as i am." Luna Lovegood.

I smiled her way, "Let's get a move on now." Neville said, We all sat on the carriage, I sat across from Neville next to Luna.

"Everyone this is looney love-" Hermione look startled and cut herself off, I tensed up.

Everyone has called Luna "Looney" Since she started attending, and I hate it.

"It's LUNA Lovegood actually." I said looking at Luna who smiled my way.

"Interesting necklace" Hermione said.

I swear if she doesn't shut up

"It's a charm actually, Keeps away the nargles" Luna replied.

"Hungry? I hope there's pudding." Luna said, I nodded.

SMALL TIME SKIP !

I walked into the great hall and looked at the Hufflepuff table. Naturally, My mind ran to thoughts of Cedric. But i tried to push them away.

I sat next to Noah, And I put my head into my palms.

"Someone's happy" Noah said, "Everything alright?" Justin asked.

"Too much of the famous trio for one day?" Hannah teased causing me to laugh.

"There it is, What did they do." Noah said.

"You know Luna Lovegood?" I asked , They nodded.

"Isn't that the girl Kyle took to the ball last year?" Ernie said.

"Yes. So, People have this name they call her, 'Looney' because they think she's weird right? Well we were in a carriage with Luna and Hermione tried to introduce us to her and literally called her Looney." I said

"In front of everyone?" Ernie asked and I nodded.

"Good evening children" Dumbledore said, I felt eyes on me I looked over and made quick eye contact with Seamus.

I fought off an awkward smile and looked back at my table.

"Now we have two changes in staff this year" Dumbledore said, everyone from our table was whispering around.

"We're pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank, who'll be taking care of magical creatures while Professor Hagrid is on temporary leave" I looked at Noah who shrugged

"We also wish to welcome our new defense against the dark arts teacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge" I looked at her and pursed my lips.

"I can smile her bloody perfume from here" Noah said causing Me, Ernie, Justin, Hannah, and even a couple of 7th years to try not to laugh.

"And i'm sure you'll all join me in wishing the professor good luck" Dumbledore continued.

"Now as usual, our care taker Mr. Filch has asked me to remind you-" Dumbledore got cut off by a girly cough, that'll scratch the back of my head forever.

Professor Umbridge walked forward, "Thank you headmaster, for those kind words of welcome. And how lovely to see all your bright happy faces smiling up at me" She said

"Not all of us." Ernie said looking at Susan who was giving the headmaster a death glare from across the hall.

"I'm sure we're all going to be very good friends" The professor said.

"That's likely." The whole hall heard the Weasley twins say.

I laughed into Noahs shoulder, trying to not let her see.

"The ministry of magic has always considered, the education of young witches and wizards, to be of vital importance. Although each headmaster has brought something new to this historic school progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved , perfect what can be perfected, and prune practices that ought to be prohibited." The professor FINALLY finished.

"Thank you, Professor Umbridge. That really was most illuminating" Dumbledore said.

He sent us off to our common rooms, I walked next to Noah trying not to laugh at his comments towards Umbridge.

"Seriously even Dumbledores speech's aren't that boring." Noah said.

We passed Seamus and Dean and I smiled at them as we passed.

"So whats going on with you and Seamus?" Noah asked and I shrugged.

"I know how you look at him, and how you talk about him. Even Cedric noticed." He put his hand over his mouth.

"Just because Ced is Dead doesn't mean you can't talk about him." I said before we got to the common rooms

"My bad, but he noticed how you liked him." Noah said.

I nodded "We'll see" I said with a small smile.
