Elizabeth Longbottoms pov:
I walked to Dinner alone since I had just been in the hospital wing helping madam pomfrey.

Finnigan pulled me to the side. "Liz can we talk, please." His eyes pleaded. "Sure. talk." I said not looking into his direction.

"I'm sorry." He said grabbing my hand and I pulled it off "He was my best friend." I said plainly looking at my shoes.

He sighed "I know.." I looked up at him willingly for the first time in a while "Why don't you believe.." I said forcing back the tears that were forming. "I just can't, You know my mom and all.." he said.

I looked back down to the floor. "I have to go." I said "Liz.." He said and I walked away.

I quickly wiped my tears and sat at the Hufflepuff table and Lavender quickly slid next to me.

"Dean told me Seamus has been pissy all day." She said "Well good evening to you too" I said grabbing some broccoli.

"Seamus is a git. I heard about what you 'did' with Kyle" She laughed, "Seamus was pissed" She said and I smiled.

Kyle sat next to me "Why are you eating a bowl of broccoli?" He asked "Broccolis good." I said he laughed.

Noah walked in the great hall, he looked like he'd recovered, He sat next to Lavender and started getting food.

Kyle pretended he didn't know what happened, "I can't figure out this stupid charms homework" Lavender groaned, "Me either I swear it gets worse and worse" Noah finally spoke.

I smiled then I heard her. "Pardon me professor but what exactly are you insinuating?" She said, the rest of the great hall heard too, I looked at Noah, Kyle and Lavender, they started walking out of the great hall and I followed.

"I am merely requesting that when it comes to my students, you conform to the prescribed disciplinary practices." Mcgonagall said, someone had told her, I'm bloody glad they did.

I stood by Neville and Dean, no Seamus thank merlin, I hadn't been able to find the rest of my friends but Lavender found me and stood by me.

"So silly of me but it sounds as if your questioning my authority in my own classroom. Minerva." Umbridge said

"Not at all. Delores, merely your medieval methods." everyone began crowding around now.

"I am sorry dear, but to question my practices, is to question the ministry, And by extension the minister himself." She said and I rolled my eyes, I heard Dean scoff behind me.

"I am a tolerant women, but the one thing I will not stand for is disloyalty." She continued

"Disloyalty." McGonagall said

"Things at Hogwarts are far worse than I feared." She faced us, "Cornelius will want to take immediate action."
MINI TIME SKIP
I woke up earlier then usual, I had to wake up earlier cause guess what's today! Quidditch try outs, am
i excited? Partially, it'd be better if Cedric was captain, but.. You know.

This year Roman Ashbane is the captain, He's a seventh year, I've never really talked to him besides a couple times during quidditch in 3rd year.

I got my bag ready and waited for Noah cause guess who's late as usual, It's just great they made Hufflepuff try outs at 5 in the bloody morning this year.

I stood in silence, looking at my feet when I finally heard Noah walking down the steps, all the Hufflepuffs who were trying out had early left a couple minutes before.

"Thank fuck, come on!" I said and I started walking ahead of him.

"Language please and thank you" He said and I rolled my eyes "You need to learn to wake up sometimes" I said and he groaned.

We finally made it to the field. " I apologize for Noah's laziness" Hannah Abbott giggled and Noah made a face of disgust, ever since he took her to the yule ball last year she's been trying to get with him.

"It's alright, if your trying out for a beater, go over there" He said to me "And chasers over there." He said.

I walked over to the beaters area and saw, Justin Finch my former fellow beater, and just another third year Hufflepuff who at the moment I really didn't care to know their name.

We had to do a practice game against the Slytherins so guess who I had to see. Draco fucking Malfoy. Isn't that just grand.

It was me and the third year first as the beaters, I flew up to my spot and waited for the whistle I looked around and saw the bleach blonde boy staring.

I looked away and the whistle blew.

I watched as the bulgers flew around the field and I started chasing after them so they were in my control, I watched as one of the bulgers tried to hit Susan Bones and I hit it toward Draco, not purposely but thankfully.

He lost his balance but quickly regained it, Goyle hit a bulger towards Noah who quickly dodged it and I hit it right towards Pucey.

Zacharias hit the quaffle into the ring and scored Hufflepuff a point, The captains blew the whistle signaling us to go back down.

I flew down "We've got the information we need Ed thank you guys so much. Official players will be announced by dinner time." Roman said.

I flew down to the ground and started walking with Hannah to the lockers I took my time changing because I still had an hour before breakfast started. I put my broom in my locker then slammed it.

I walked out of the locker room alone and hung my bag on my shoulder I walked a little far from the field then I felt arms push me against the fence.

Fuck. Not again.

He grabbed my face and forced me to look at him "Hi doll." Draco said, "What. Do you want." I shuttered.

"Oh you know what I want." He smirked "You don't have your little friend to protect you anymore.." he said.

I shoved him off me, "Talk about him again, and I'll pull out your greased hair in chunks." I kicked him in a nice fun area then walked off.

Maybe I don't need Cedric to defend myself.

I ran all the way up to my dormitory I tried to avoid what had just happened, I quickly changed into my robes and walked down to breakfast late.

I walked into the great hall and quickly sat at the table with my friends, Lavender was just staring off at the Gryffindor table and Noah and Kyle were talking about quidditch.

"Lav? Whatcha staring at." I asked "Ginger 12 o'clock." Noah said, I looked ahead , Ron Weasley.

"No way." I said, I started laughing "it's not funny!" Lavender said, I put my hand over my mouth.

Lavender liked Ron Weasley.
