Elizabeth Longbottoms pov:
I woke up early and sat up, Susan and Hannah were both asleep still, I hurried and got ready.

I sat in the common room reading a book.

I heard familiar foot steps patting down the stairs, Noah.

"Why are you up so early" I asked him, "I couldn't fall back asleep." He said looking at the book I was reading.

"Are you excited for DADA with the pink lady" Noah asked, "Not one bit, OWLS are this year too, I'm sure you're excited for that." I said, He chuckled.

He sat next to me and took my book from me, "Jerk" I said elbowing him.

Suddenly everything got slightly brighter. Another vision, Everything was blurry but not as much this time, I looked around a bit and my eyes finally focused. I saw a boy on the floor with his arm bleeding as he cried.

I looked at his arm and saw I must not EVER say his name.

The cut looked deep, There was a noise of a door opening then Noah shook me.

"Liz?" I snapped back "Are you okay?" He asked, I nodded.

There were more people now in the common room, "Let's go to the great hall." I said we started walking there and we passed Harry.

I smiled at him and he glared at me. Noah glared right back at him and turned me away.

"What's his issue?" I said, "Who knows, Maybe we're suddenly not popular enough for him." Noah replied.

Lavender and Kyle ran to catch up with us.

"Morning Badgers." Kyle said messing up Noahs hair.

Lavender walked next to me, "You guys will never guess what happened last night." She said.

We entered the great hall and sat down at Hufflepuff table.

"So what happened?" Noah asked.

"Last night Seamus and Harry got in this huge argument, Seamus was all 'Voldemorts not back, blah blah blah nobody else was there the night Cedric died' Then Harry said something about Seamus' mom and how he should read the prophet like his mom does and maybe he'd have some common sense blah blah blah" She said.

Noah looked at me, "I might know why he was glaring at you this morning" He said.

"Seamus said that huh." Kyle said then glared at Seamus when he walked in.

"I can't believe it." I said, "Trust me it happened, ask any Gryffindor" Lavender said.

I put my head into my palms.

Soon enough it was time to go to DADA, I walked with Noah, Kyle and Lavender.

Seamus smiled at me and Kyle turned me away from him.

We entered DADA and I sat down next to Lavender, The students were playing with a paper bird then suddenly the bird burnt to a crisp.

There she was , the pink lady.

"Ordinary Wizarding Level Examinations, also known as. O-W-Ls." She said writing on the board then walked to the front.

She looked at the class, "Study hard and you will be rewarded, fail to do so, and the consequences may be, severe." She said.

I rolled my eyes. "Your previous instruction in this subject has been disturbingly uneven. But you'll be pleased to know, from now on you will be following a carefully structured, Ministry-approved course of defensive magic" she said while handing out books.

Hermione raised her hand "Yes?" The professor said.

"There's nothing in here about using defensive spells." Hermione said , I looked at Lavender who shrugged.

I looked through the book real quick and she was right.

"Well I cant imagine why you'd need to use spells in my classroom" The professor replied.

"I'm sorry, Is this not a magic school?" Noah said.

I laughed and the professor looked at me.

"We're not gonna use magic?" Ron asked.

"You'll be learning about defensive spells in a secure, Risk free way." The professor said.

"What use is that? If we're attacked it won't be risk free." Harry said and Seamus scoffed.

Noah gave Seamus a glare that could burn your skull.

"It is the view of the ministry, to get you through your examinations which, after all, is what school is all about." The professor said.

"And hows that theory supposed to prepare us for what's out there?" Harry asked

"There's nothing out there dear." Umbridge said.

"Who do you imagine wants to attack children like yourself?" She said

"Oh, I don't know maybe Lord voldemort." Noah said

"Detention Mr. Duncan. See me after school." She said, Noah scoffed.

"Now. let me make this quite plain." She started "You have been told that a certain dark wizard is at large once again. This is a lie." She finished.

"It's not a lie, I saw him, I fought him." Harry said.

"Detention! Mr Potter." She said

"So according to you Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own accord" Harry said. My heart ached.

"Cedric Diggorys death was a tragic accident." She said.

I scoffed "What really are you implying here?" I snapped.

"It was a murder voldemort killed him." Harry said.

"Enough!" She yelled "See me later, Mr potter. My office" She said.

The whole class got silent then she started her lesson.
