I started walking down the hall, heading to Divination.
Somebody tapped my shoulder, "Hey, y/n?"
"Yeah?" I stopped and turned around.
Justin Finch-Fletchley was standing there awkwardly, "How are you?"
I smiled, trying to be nice, "I'm good, how about you."
He shrugged, "I'm good. So, I was wondering if you would meet me somewhere?"
I began rocking back and forth. I really did not want to be here right now. It was super awkward and my hands were sweating.
"Where?" I asked.
"Oh, um," he thought for a moment, "the Astronomy Tower?"
"Um," I shrugged, "I don't know."
"What?"
I looked past him, the twins were walking our way. Fred made eye-contact with me and I widened my eyes to tell him that I was uncomfortable. He nodded once.
I looked back at Justin, "I-I don't know if t-that's the best place?"
"Oh, we can go to the, um, the greenhouse or something." He suggested.
I shook my head, "I'm sure Neville will be in there."
"Well-" Justin was gonna continue, but he was stopped.
Fred swooped behind me. He bent over and wrapped his arms around my waist. He kissed my cheek.
"Sorry, mate," Fred set his chin on my shoulder, "but y/n and I have somewhere to be."
Justin looked at Fred, and then me. He gave me the same distasteful look that he had given Harry before. He scoffed, shook his head, and walked away.
As Fred let go of me, I felt the butterflies in my stomach go insane.
I looked at him, "Really?"
"What?" He asked, smirking at me.
"That's how you get him away from me?" I asked, shaking my head.
He lightly punched my arm, "I believe what you're trying to say is, 'Thank you'."
"Fred, he's gonna tell people that we're dating." I moved my hair out of my face.
"And?" He asked.
"And, we're not dating!" I hissed.
He ran his tongue against his teeth, "We can change that. You meet me in the Astronomy Tower during Study Hall." He winked at me and walked away.
I stood there, frozen. Did he really just say that? I gasped and turned my head to look at him. I watched him move down the hall, one step at a time.
Oh my God.
"Y/n."
I turned back around, "Lee." I smiled.
"Is everything alright?" He asked.
I smiled, "Nothing. Ready for Divination?"
He scoffed, "As ready as you are."
We walked together to the Divination Room.
"You're gonna have to keep me awake." I told him.
He laughed, "I'm pretty sure it's the other way around."
I clicked my tongue, "Are you kidding? I'm the calm one out of the four of us."
"Just because you're calm doesn't mean you're sane." He said.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
He shrugged, "I said what I said."
We stepped into the classroom and walked to our table in the back.
"Today, we're gonna be reading our tea dregs." Trelawny told us.
I leaned into Lee, "Didn't we already do this?" I whispered.
"Yep."
